Not bad, just weak.

It probably doesn't help I watched this for the first time a few years after the movie came out and thought it was a newer episode by mistake.

I'm with Stupid for its terrible pacing and lack of a strong ending.

or just that no one wanted to watch spongebob fail at doing something very mundane in stupid ways?
I know the gags in that episode were pretty lame

Of the episodes that get played somewhat frequently:

* Home Sweet Pineapple
* Gary Takes a Bath
* Snowball Effect
* Party Pooper Pants (mostly because of its not too memorable? I've seen it twice/thrice, like other episodes, but I barely remember the plot)
* Krabby Land

At least 3 of these are "bad" solely in the context of fantastic seasons.

The only one that really got me was when Spongebob threw Gary in the tub, only for him to freeze in midair and teleport out of the way.
