Who buys the third issue of a comic without the first and second?
>>82984625
The statistics are for copies bought by stores, and not all copies are necessarily sold to customers. So the fact that "sales" went up just means that stores are more confident in it (which is also good though!)

Feeling good.
I haven't laughed as hard as I have for The Fix in a while.
Who is best sociophat and why it is the stay-at-home-dad boss

I like the Superior Foes art in the background, I immediately noticed it because of the Shocker pattern
>>82984760
I know right. He also sings Flaming Lips to his baby
Can somebody story time the second issue? I haven't bought it yet.
But hey, I bought the first issue and got Steve to sign that, and make a little sketch for me for mentioning I was from /co/
He also knocked my Shocker symbiote commission out of the park.

Oh Lieber you card!
this cover rocks
and it hasn't even been solicited yet
>>82984793
Based Lieber
I love The Fix, I just hope the dog will be ok. Beagles are top tier and don't deserve harm
>>82984544
Foes #3 were lower than Foes #4?
Imagine how mindblown /co/ would be if Tom King did a book with Lieber

beagles
>>82985705
I'm worried something bad will happen to him.
>>82986286
Eh, Lieber already did thriller/espionage with Rucka. I like his comedy stuff more.
>>82985030
...most underrated post on /co/ right now.
has anyone read his Valiant stuff? is it good?
>>82985030
That place is legit.
>>82985370
It's a con exclusive version of issue 1, I think.
>>82990931
oh sorry, I thought the score of 6 meant it was issue 6
>>82985370
They better don't hurt the doggo or I'll throw an autistic sissyfit on their doorstep and it won't be pretty

Steve Lieber is great - I love how he supports storytimes when they are essentially pirating his work. I guess in some fashion, they get more readers?
>>82992783
>>Someone on 4chan scanned in all of Steve Lieber and Jeff Parker’s Underground and posted it for all to read. Rather than pitching a fit (which would have been perfectly justified under the circumstances), Lieber joined the discussion and cheerfully suggested folks kick in a few bucks if they like the book or maybe even, you know, buy it. Then he posted it on his own site for free. The picture above, taken from this post on his blog, concisely summarizes what happened next.
Why did it work out this way? Perhaps the comic is that good (I haven’t read it), perhaps because 4chan helped it find its audience, and perhaps because Lieber took some time to engage the readers and establish himself as a real person—it’s a lot harder to steal from someone you know.
>>82992673
he did it to trigger us, I'm sure
>>82992894
Wow.
>>82992894
I remember liking it and throwing him like $5-10 on his site afterward because he was so cool about it. But I don't remember anything about the story. I should re-read.
Steve's awesome.
So glad I got to meet him at ECCC.
Maybe if we close our eyes and whisper his name he'll show up in the thread.
>>82993095
you have to look in the mirror and say his name three times
>>82993123
I hope
>>82992894
Good comic, sure, but I think the creator just coming around and being personable instead of throwing a fit makes people go "You know, he's alright. I want to support things he works on". It instills a sense of loyalty and camraderie IMO.
>>82994088
Yeah we love creators who actually talk to us like people instead of the "faceless internet hate machine"

Who are some other people who come around here?
