There's nothing inherently wrong with any song on HAA, but they're all stretched a little bit too long so the material gets repetitive. You could shave a minute to 1.30 off each track and not miss anything, I think the only one that really worked its length was Technologic because it echoed Around The World - solid gold beat, repetitive lyrics, and the music changes up consistently around it.

I like it more than Demon Days, honestly. It might not be quite as consistent but its highs are really high. Stylo, Rhinestone Eyes, Empire Ants, Some Kind of Nature, Melancholy Hill, Cloud of Unknowing... legitimately some of their best songs.

I could barely stomach it back then given how shitty the internet was at the time. I could barely even watch the videos because that was back before youtube video streaming quality existed.

As much as I like Gorillaz visual style I've come dissapointed by The Fall and some of the PB songs. (And everything Damon has done this decade, generally)

Also, I've realized that Damon stole the idea from Dan The Automator and then ditched him after first album. Demon Days was amazing and it had The Clash on it.

I hope he gets more people for collaborations, since it's what has made the albums sound great.

Demon Days is the only music CD I own.

Murdoc wants to fuck bitches and make money. 2D does whatever. Noodle and Russel, however, have thoughts on the underlying meaning of their music and what it represents.

Basically, he was a calming influence for the group. A kind of balance to Murdoc's insanity and 2D's aimless meanderings. While Murdoc leads the group and 2D is a pretty face, Russel keeps the beat while Noodle fills out what's missing.
