It didn't even hold back then, unless you were either 10yo or bellow.

I grew up loving it as a kid in the 80s.
Then for a bit in highschool in the 90s I hated it and thought it was too silly.
Then I grew up and realized what absurdist brillance it was. It really took the over the top colorful characters and ran with them in comeplete ernest.
