Why wouldn't you sell it based on the writers name alone? Specially if it's Millar. Like it or not, his name does have some pull. Definitely more than just about everyone he's been working with recently. The only artists that are big name enough to pull in readers, and we're not just talking fans of artists, we're going with known by people outside comics circles, are probably Lee, Ross, and maybe Hughes and Liefeld. And those last two are big ifs.

Meanwhile, writers have more than comics to draw an audience from. They either advertise them through their novel work like they do with Gaiman, or film or TV adaptations like they do with Millar and Kirkman. Miller's probably more known by the general audience as the guy that directed Sin City than the guy that wrote comics, so they stick that

1. it didn't go anywhere you don't see them fighting at a play and woman is there, the tickets didn't clue them into a bigger plot point. They just did a good deed that no one needed to know or see.
2. this doesn't show anything about the character. Most heroes would willing help her with little effort. but you get no message of Hellcat's abilities or personality. Spider-man would have either made things worse by destrying the tickets with webbing or would have had some crazy ass adventure like he got on the tracks and found the Lizard stealing the tickets because he is a big fan of Broadway and then you have an issue where he bets up the lizard gets the tickets back and either A. the lady takes him to the play instead of her bf or B. It isn't social media which causes this, that is just a reflection of it. The whole thing is based on the cliques that form up in these industries. They all know each other through someone else and this means similar ideas are shared through all of them. To get anywhere in this then you need to prove you believe the ideas the most, what is an easy way to show this? Social media, it's just a record of how much they are in the group think and can prove it to each other

There are a lot of descenting opinions on social media already, they just don't care unless they can use it to earn more points

I know it doesn't cause it, but social media sites like facebook and twitter give these crazies a large window and an even larger audience. In earlier decades, proto-SJWs would froth at their mouth for a few years, get bored and then move on; the internet enables them to find new material to be offended by every hour and thus keep their flames burning forever.

In other words, SJWs have it too easy. The truly disprivileged wouldn't be able to spend all day behind their home computer, making a living writing clickbait articles for the mary sue/jezebel/cracked etc.
