let's talk about mediocre webcomics /co/

You know not what mediocre means.

And I know what you want. You'll get nothing from me.
>>
Why has this page gotten so much attention from the same person lately?I'm following the comic now. What more do you want?

I'm confused, this is my first time posting it here. Has someone else been spamming it?

I'm calling it mediocre because while the art is mostly good, the artist doesn't draw humans well, and the storytelling takes a back seat to all of the "look at this race I invented, isn't it cool?" stuff. The constant "dumps" of information (as in the ones that aren't told through the comic, but are just single pages with a bunch of facts on them) interrupt the pacing of the story, and so far I just do not absolutely care about any of the other characters besides that guy that transformed. I don't know anything about them and have zero investment in their well-being.

That being said, it is apparent that the author put a lot of thought into the race they created (things like not being able to pronounce th's with that sort of teeth is a nice touch) so it's down to whether or not they can put as much thought into the rest of their story or worldbuilding.
>>
>>82866232

>>
>>82866736
That's a difficult question for me to answer because I've only recently discovered that this is even a thing I enjoy.

I like the thought put behind how the magic works (and how it interacts with characters who negate it) in poppy, and I think the spirit stuff in paranatural is neat but isn't as clearly defined and has more room for bullshit. I find Unsounded's world hard to follow.

Does that help?

>>
>>82875896
ok it was less weird then that.

We just wanted to experiment with making a setting where humans aren't the "most populous, widespread and default" race. Started with humans as non-natives to the Fantasy Setting that show up randomly like demons and other outsiders do in dnd and shit. The original gimmick was that humans get like random powers that don' fit the normal rules of magic but that felt kinda shitty and uncreative.

Now humans are fundamentally unstable from the interdimensional trip. Causing them to tend to accidentally transform into natives/ deliberately transform into natives to avoid rotting away to death in the course of a day depending if you want goofy borderline fetish stuff or grimdark WoDish "humans are now shapshifting vampires hiding in kobold town."

>>82876592
I see

well thats kinda sad
>>
I really want to like this. I like the author's sense of humor. The setting is great. And almost the entire cast is made up of loveable fuck-ups, which is my favorite character archetype.

But the art. Jesus. It's clear that the author's strength is in more graphic, cartoony styles like pic related, but the main comic is all over-rendered muddy shadows that can't decide whether it wants to be realistic or cartoony. It's distracting in a bad way and makes it hard to read.

I can tolerate bad art if the writing is good, especially if the author's self-aware enough to make it work. This is just depressing because it's clear that the author CAN do art well, but she just chooses to make it ugly for no apparent reason.
>>
>>82877047
Constructive criticism - nurture an webcomic creator and sometimes they'll make an effort to genuinely work on and improve their art/writing.

... sometimes.
>>
>>82865701
I think you mean this page.

And it's not the same person. This just happens to be the funniest page in the comic. Also the comic is something new to /co/.
>>
>>82866232
It's actually amazing how well the yinglets are drawn while the humans still look like something out of a 13 year old's 6 page sonic fanfiction.
>>
>>82866382
Real cute, anon. It would help to post both halves of the comic. I mean, usually.
>>
>>82865103
It's cute looking, but I get the impression the author wants to fuck it. I think I prefer when the viewer comes to that conclusion on their own.
>>
>>82877047
She might be rushing her work, and a lot of what she has posted demonstrates she is self taught. There is room for improvement as always, and some of the dialog reads a bit strange. Her latest page is definetly an improvement, if she works on her humans, dialog and a few fundamentals she has the potental to really stand out in a good way.

At any rate, the concept is cute and I will be following this one.
>>
>>82865103
those rat things look cute
>>
>>82878136
Didn't feel that while reading it but after looking at the extras he definitely wants some.

And it's weird that the protagonist hasn't gone to the bathroom or something, how do they even pee?
>>
>>82878691
As long as they keep their desire to fuck it low-key, I can be fine with it. They are pretty cutely drawn, I must say.

>And it's weird that the protagonist hasn't gone to the bathroom or something
Is it? That kind of thing isn't typically addressed in fiction unless it's some kind of punchline or setup.
>>
>>82866232
>That being said, it is apparent that the author put a lot of thought into the race they created

they sure did, not only in the info dumps on the comic itself, but the extras include a yinglet talking to show how they sound and also an animation of how they walk/trot/run

>mediocre webcomics

We haven't talked about Sinfest in a while, what's happening with that these days? I'd imagine Trump + #BLM + campuses controversies has probably been giving Ishida plenty of fuel for the last year or so. I wouldn't know since I dropped the webcomic 3-4 years ago and even though I'm curious about it I don't really feel like giving that website any traffic.

>mfw the last time I visited the website
>>
Bad Adjectives is pretty mediocre
>>
>>82878258
Her "about" page says she's an art graduate.

I'd be 1000x happier if the whole comic was done in the unshaded black-and-white style that the latest page is in. But the lineart pages are only filler for between chapters. She always uses the ugly soft shading for the main story arc.

I do like the comic a lot. It's just baffling to me that someone who went to school for art would purposefully draw their passion project in such an unappealing way, especially since it seems like plain black and white looks better and takes less time. Imo, it's the biggest thing keeping it "mediocre" rather than "good."

But hey, I'm just some nitpicky asshole with too much free time. The author isn't obligated to cater to me.

>>
>>82886738
You'd be disappointed with how little attention psychology gives to fetishes. There's not even a framework to judge them by. Such a site would effectively be a whole new branch of sexuology.
>>
>>82886920
Fetishes are largely unexplored outside of anonymous image boards and autistic teenagers. Normies hear "fetish" and immediately only think of S&M.

There's something I never thought I'd see here.

I also keep continually checking in on Todd Allison & the Petunia Violet despite it not updating in months (right after saying they needed to update quicker), and being an all around just okay comic.
>>
>>82886683
That's the main thing that bugs me about webcomics/webcomic creators. The pacing is always awful. Weekly updates stagger things too much to have impact and anything faster almost always burns artists/writers out.

I don't get how so few realize the fact that official comics come out in, y'know, issues. It'd be like if book were published a page a day.
>>
>>82887148
Pretty much. And psychology has this taboo about sex, strangely enough. It's a very sensitive science, because no matter which way they go, if they go "too far", some politically motivated cunt will start moaning and bitching about it.

So when it comes to fetishes, the only thing they want to look at is parafilia's. Which basically means a fetish that's so strong that people can't get off without it. Which is also something I've never seen an actual example of. As a condition it's so fleetingly rare that it's damn near impossible to do any research on.

Of course, you can do research like "does the smell of cookies make people want to shop more" and stuff like that, but people get skittisch once sex is involved.

It's a real pity, because the mechanisms behind a lot of fetishism have every indicating of being deeply rooted in human psychology. I mean, take anthropomorphism. It's been around since the Stone Age. Sure, people only started fapping to it en masse in recent times, but it's unmistakenly a core concept of the human mind. I have seen absolutely no research about it, or its possible function. I can only give my personal theory, which is that it's likely linked to empathy, and a mechanism that allows us to predict the actions of animals by putting ourselves in their shoes. Which would have been useful to early hunters, because humans hunt with their minds. We're capable of following prey when we've lost track of them by using our cognitive skills. So reasoning some antilope must be thirsty, and will go to a watering hole nearby, requires some way of imagining yourself as the antilope, as it were.

Sucks to be you. You'll never enjoy great once in a blue moon comics like power nap or gone with the blast wave
>>
>>82887366
I don't know, I don't usually bother to keep up on authors outside of what they post on the comic's website.

One assumes, what with her not having any real form of monetization with the comic, that she has a Real Life Job that was getting in the way. I don't know what the circumstances were then, but I know it's gone long stretches without updates before. So one hopes this one will end at some point too.
>>
>>82887379
Seriously, how is that the post that triggers people?

Power Nap really lost me, though. Just couldn't get into it. Gone with the Blastwave is OK. I'll finish reading it one of these days, when I'm in the mood.

But really, it's not weird to expect a webcomic to adhere to some form of regular schedule. The ones that don't quite often end up dying, or simply go nowhere. I'm looking at you, Our Intrepid Crew.

Wouldn't be a problem if independent artists weren't procrastinating little duds that do things last minute and then want instant gratification. If they went into it with a buffer and a plan, the crowd-pleasing regular weekly update cycle could work just fine with the inconsistent creative process. A regular release schedule does not need to imply a regular production time. Some episodes of a weekly cartoon have FAR more time and work put into them.

But that takes discipline.
>>
>>82888067
>But that takes discipline.

No, it takes working in a team. I think you're massively underselling the advantage of having your obligation being to other people in the same room. A webcomic artist? It's essentially just them, their autism, and people who are far away behind an internet connection.

I mean, you showed up for school every day when you were a kid, right? Despite it starting sinfully early and taking up your day with boring shit you only barely remember at the time, let alone now?

Would you have spent the same amount of time on all that crap if someone had just dumped the books in your lap at home and told you to read them?

No, I don't think you would have. not a single kid would. Yet they all do it when you give them the obligation to just sit in a building with a lot of other people and do the same damn thing.

Someone said he thought Unsounded was a bit girly in the last Out of Placers thread. Some butthurt Anon sent part of the comment to Ashley Cope's tumblr, where she responded angrily, and the thread resulting from THAT was the largest Unsounded thread in the history of the board, and consisted mostly of Anons bitterly discussing whether or not it's appropriate to call Unsounded "girly" long after the original Anon got in contact with Ashley and they came to terms with each other.

So, the next time you see the comment "why is this comic so girly?" in an Unsounded thread, you know where it came from.

TLDR
It was just a competitive game the two Gods were playing, using mortals as their proxies

Okay so

Basically the giant green Dragon and the blue Griffon were big nerds playing a nerd game against each other.

They had rules and shit, but in the end it came down to each of them getting avatars that they could fight one another with.

In the final stage of the game, the Griffon was going to use Grape (purple cat), but then changed to King (transformed guy), finally going to Bailey (transformed guy's bitch).

The Dragon went with the psychic dog.

In the end everyone got sick of their shit and the Fox God fucked them both over.

It suffered, or suffers, I don't know--from the same thing that now haunts Tim Buckley for the rest of the eons. He took a slice of life comic and tried to add drama, and it went from "Kind of mediocre" to outright bad.

I hate to burst your bubble, but the government would step in the moment someone finds out. They'd watch and poke it for a while, and then people will start discussing what the hell we're even going to do with this thing. I mean, they're probably officially retarded, but they're also clearly sentient.

So they'd look for experts, and they'd eventually (and probably very quickly) land with the guy who does the comic. And now that comic artist is suddenly plucked from their masturbatory life to advise people on what to do with this yinglet. Now there's a consequence they never saw coming.

Just imagine the headlines.

You have opened the gate at the end of my garden and walked right in. There's a sign on the gate that says "No entry, Do not enter" and you just ignroed it and walked right in.

You're walking down the path and you see a little garden, one of those cute, immaculately tended microgardens with mosses and peonies and shit. There's a little sign next a cheeky looking gnome that reads "Anon's hopes and dreams" and without a second thought you hop over the munchkin sized white plastic fence from the dollar store and you just start doing a fucking jig all over them ,all over those hopes and dreams. You're really going for it, dancing up a storm.

I walk out of the door to see what all the fuss is, there's a small but growing crowd of people in the street watching your impromptu rendition of riverdance combined with STOMP right there in my flowerbed and petals are just flying everywhere. At some point the gnome has been knocked over.

I'm standing there, dressing gown slowly unfurling in shock, tea dripping from my cup now haphazardly tilted and you're just there, trampling my hopes and dreams without a care.

I look down into the gnome's eyes and all he asks for is an end to this madness.

Yeah, same here. I'm mostly enjoying the yinglets being barely functional idiots, the buggirl being annoying, and Kass and his friend realizing how insane their world is. It's simple, but between the big drama and grand, sweeping plots of other comics, I appreciate some simplicity.

>>82880354
The first few years, maybe even 5 are pretty great. It's oddly amusing and endearing like you said, with some solid anthro world-building. After the great Bird Conspiracy gets revealed it mostly loses steam and retreads the same ground over and over somehow despite the characters aging, growing, changing jobs, etc. It's still okay even today, but mostly in a "Yeah, I remember the first time they did this plot and it was funny." kind of way.

You're at the club and you spot this smokin' hot scav across the dancefloor with this tight little fancy outfit on and a bell on a choker
After they finish dancing you sidle on over to the bar and ask if you can buy a fancy drink for a fancy lad to which they blush and accept it with a grin
You have a few more drinks together and as the night gets on you are more and more relaxed in eachother's company, the bar drifting into the distance as you make smalltalk about big things, mostly shiny stones and clams
You walk the fancy lad back to their cardboard box in a dingy alley and have a goodnight kiss before parting to go your separate ways.
You hear a lisping voice call behind you, "Kind hyuooman... you like mine hat?" and turning you see the fancy lad's hat has a reed of carnal beckoning now stuck in it.

You think people are "Cute"? That's kind of condescending isn't it?

I mean, these creatures are a made-up race specifically meant to be cute to us by the author, their stature and build is designed that way.
Finding real people "cute" though is a little strange, "cute" is a response to something you want to protect and nurture, a mothering instinct almost. It shouldn't be being triggered by adult humans.

I don't know if that one plays to many of its author's fetishes, though it does strongly poke other peoples' and I think the author eventually wound up with a furry streak from drawing it.

The only time he's unambiguously fetishing "on screen" is when he draws a fat girl, since he's a chubby chaser (but he can draw fitter females well enough that we know he hasn't let it overtake his sense of beauty yet).

He might also have a fetish for women suffering, I dunno...

Hey! Author of the comic here.

Just noticed this thread and read through it; I wasn't expecting this to pop up here, or to get so much useful feedback from it! Honestly, most of the criticism in the thread is pretty spot-on; things I already had the feeling that I needed to improve on.

...Which is actually half the reason I started drawing this thing; to give myself a project to keep me drawing constantly, and hopefully improving over time. And while the comments on Deviantart and such can be useful, it can be kinda hard to get honest critique there sometimes.

Like on the shading method, which I was already thinking was clashing with the rest of the style being used. If you'll notice on the page posted at the top here (the most recent one), has no shading on the characters at all, because I had to rush this one out to meet a deadline on something else. And then I stood back and realized that it actually looked better, so I guess yup, time to try something different.

I haven't really been advertising this yet, as I'm still "feeling out" the style that the comic will eventually settle into, and with my schedule I haven't been able to post as much as I'd like, nor on a predictable basis. There's still a lot I need to work out before I'd consider it ready to show off.

So yeah; while right now it's more of a hobby to keep me in the habit of drawing, I'd like to get it posted more often and on a reliable schedule once I've improved some more, and/or can spend more time drawing each week. I'm surprised it's gotten as much attention as it has so far!
>>

>I'm surprised it's gotten as much attention as it has so far!

Long story short: The story's not bad, everyone wants to boff something or other from your comic, better human faces please.

Also you now have what could be your first official piece of R34 in the trash drawthread. Savour it, even if you don't go look at it yourself: It means your comic is turning heads.
>>
>>82910309
Oh wow, hello! Prepare for a LOT of shitposting.

Your comic is cute!
>>
>>82910309
Always good to see a creator show up. It actually only got posted on here a couple days ago. The smekfight's what probably attracted most of us.

And this is a board that's been reading It Hurts for years, so don't feel too self conscious about your art. Strive for improvement but don't go full Goblins.

>>82910531

And there's R34 of these little jerks now? Shit, I gotta see this.

>>82910536
Ey, thanks! There are some areas that need improvement, but that's half the reason I'm drawing it in the first place; glad you're enjoying it in the meantime!

>>82910588
Thanks! I am drawing this with improvement in mind, but yeah; webcomics aren't high art, either. I'm steering towards a style that lets me draw more panels faster, rather than trying to make the shading and detail amazing, which is another reason to go with simpler, flat shades rather than the current look.

I'm getting the impression they're entirely self taught, which is fairly impressive. But they're getting hung up on the more difficult things like shading. Shading is goddamn hard and there are rules to it.

Also I'd like to see some of the human faces with no shading. The pages with no humans look almost professional but the pages with humans look like a kid's deviant art account, which to me says they've got some bad habits from their younger days to iron out.

This is me reading way too much into things though.

I'm sort of following this and I don't know why. It's not awful, but the art is kind of amateurish and the pace has been pretty slipshod (though that might be from the erratic updates). I guess the idea is interesting enough that I'm sticking around to see if anything becomes of it.

>Goes off grid and then starts a serious comic under his real name a year later.
>World where most of humanity is dead and the rest mostly mutated into either monsters or anthros.
>When the comic starts the focus is mostly on a human character recycled from a previous work and a fat rhino chick (also technically a recycled human character).
>All the other anthros in the comic are cartoon-quality stuff.
>Implied sex between them is framed as "Gee, he really fucks the rhino despite her looks? He must really love her."
>Comic eventually loses focus on the remaining humans (they're there, but don't appear often).
>Eventually introduces the head of security - she's an anthro cat, but twice as tall as most of them and with a very non-cartoony, human figure.
>Anthro females start being drawn somewhat more attractively and slightly less cartoonishly.
>Comic introduces new main characters (nice-guy cat and stunningly-cute mouse girl).
>Implied sex between cat and mouse is framed as "Good Lord isn't this cute?"
>Creator draws pinup art of anthro-cat (pic related).
>Creator starts drawing pinup art of other anthro characters from the comic.
>Eventually anthro-cat is hastily and cheaply redeemed at the end of her arc and sent to live in another universe with a copy of the author's pet character/self-insert, who apparently decided he was head over heels in love with her out of nowhere.

Read brandon Sanderson novels.

He's a good world builder, and has very satisfying magic systems, and spits out novels like a young Steven King. The only thing bad about his stories is his reliance on familiar tropes.

*Gustine

And yeah, Endtown in general is an improvement over those "other comics". I'd say he definitely didn't start out consciously looking at Gustine's anthro side as attractive, though - I actually get the feeling making her a fat species was his attempt to remind himself she was still a sexual being despite being a living cartoon character, for the sake of writing their relationship. He liked the pudge, not the horn. But heh, maybe that was his furry streak's foot-in-the-door moment.

I've been looking back and thinking just that. It's tempting to use a more realistic soft-shaded style, especially on clothing, but since I'm using a more comic-ey style on the faces rather than a more realistic one, that shading style is really fighting it. One of many reasons to quit shading that way.

Well! I'm never letting anyone know the answer to the first part, but there are a few points in the story where another character could get tf'd, and I've been debating for a long time whether to keep that as Kass' character theme, or give more characters the treatment.

I've noticed that most stories/comics with transformation as a main theme often includes multiple instances of it, so I'm wondering if I'd be upholding the integrity of the story by keeping it as a one-time thing, or if I would be doing this "niche comic" thing wrong by not including others.

I'd like to hear some thoughts on that, since the conversation's so open here.

Originally, it was going to just have a brief setup, then move around following the stories of multiple characters at once all over the city (which it may still).

But either way, the story will be getting back to following all the characters as soon as Kass' visit to the enclave is over. I was going to head straight into that, but during the Prologue people started asking an enormous amount of yinglet-related questions, so I realized I needed to get all their metaphorical bases covered first.

Keep the TF to just Kass and stuff like the non-canon side stories. Right now it's a good premise and McGuffin mystery item, if you start throwing it around it will lose the charm quickly. If you are gonna go down the "Everybody is getting TF'ed!" road, you might as well go full porn comic.

Don't do anything based on whether or not it's the "right" thing to do for the genre/niche/medium. If the story calls for it, that someone else getting transformed adds some tension or drama or complication (or comedy) to the story you want to tell, then by all means, I've got all night and a box of kleenex. If you'd feel that adding more would feel arbitrary, then don't.

Just don't feel like you're obligated to write your story one way or another.

I wrote tg smut that was decently received on /d/ and the thing I found was that, one-offs aside, you're better off writing a story first and foremost. If you've got engaging characters/plot/setting, then people will happily wait for whatever smuttiness may come, and because the readers are so involved, it'll be that much more satisfying by the end.

A transformation congo-line turned orgy is good and all, but don't worry so much about getting there that you blow your load too early.

sorry for the ramble, I need sleep, nice comic!

You've already bitten off a sizable chunk with 3 bizarre monstergrill waifus to explore in addition to all the racial politics and the seemingly superfluous addition of the Baxxid so you really don't need to rob a main character of their unique gimmick.

Some of your comic's themes remind me of another cute monstergirl comic by the name of Hissed Connections, especially a lot of Yannit's pages, nice work.

I just picked a random one from the most recent chapter. Sometimes it's better, sometimes it's worse, but the muddy shadows everywhere kill it for me every time. Compare this to her non-shaded stuff in the most recent update-- it would be so much easier to read if the author didn't slap blurry shadows all over the place.

I really don't see the problem at all, it requires a lot of skill to pull that shading and I think that it looks great and very clean.

The only think that I dislike it the tumblr hair,
but beyond that the art is 8/10.

The black and white style looks good but it looks really flar and boring compared with this, I really don't get how can you like it better.
>>
>>82915210

Endtown is really the opposite of that. Although it's debatable if it is a TF comic.
>>
>>82912838
>TF question

Well, I guess that depends. If it's just random, unconnected TFs that would probably wear thin. If there's some kind of connection that would be better.

A few people were wondering about the Trade Prince's fascination with Kass, and whether it was just "magic is real" or or if he had some other thing going.

If HE got a hold of the stone-thingy I'm sure there would be plenty of experiments.

>>
>>82915180
I picked a random page from the most recent chapter here >>82915267, but I don't like any of the blurry-shaded pages from that comic.

Any comic, or just webcomics? I'm trying to think of webcomics I enjoy that use a black and white cartoony style well, but the only ones I can think of at the moment are print. So if that counts, I guess literally any classic black and white print comic, since none of them shade with the blurry basic PS brush. Calvin and Hobbes, I guess. Or, hell, even the Calvin and Hobbes imitation comic that the AGS author drew for April Fools Day is pretty great. She just needs to ditch the basic soft round.

If we're limiting it to webcomics... Well, most are in color, and the only ones I can think of that blend together realism and abstraction well aren't as cartoony as AGS. If I had to pick something, I guess I'd say Modus Operandi or Alpha Flag, but that's still like comparing apples to oranges.

That's fair.

I guess what I dislike about it is that it seems like most pages push contrast for contrast's sake, without paying attention to how it affects the overall composition (or even keeping consistent light sources, a lot of the time). It does have the potential to be more interesting than the flat black-and-white, but the author doesn't pull it off well IMO. Most of the page looks like she just slapped the basic soft PS brush everywhere, to the point that it looks like the digital equivalent of a high schooler using charcoal for the first time. It's blurry and hard to look at.

The flat black-and-white has less detail, but reads a lot better to me. I think a happy medium would be shading with a harder brush. That way it'd keep the details without turning everything into a muddy mess.
>>
>>82915594

That's right, motion blur.

Can you post a webcomic that does that style well? maybe a couple because once again I don't see anything wrong with it.

Things like making it seem like there are differente light sources and the basic PS brush are just a matter of taste, there is no rule about not changing the light source on purpose to create mood or that is mandatory to use certain tools in order to be considered good art.

Sorry. I'm trying to find black and white comics that I like, but most of the webcomics I follow are in color. I guess Lackadaisy Cats is a good example of toony characters, soft shading, and detailed backgrounds done well, but her style is so different from AGS that it's hard to compare.

You're right that it is a matter of taste. I'm sorry if I was unclear; my problem isn't that she changes the light source or that she uses certain brushes, it's that I don't think she does these things well, and the skill gap between the style she's using for the main comic and her other art is so large that I can't understand why she keeps drawing it that way. Using simple brushes is fine, as is deliberately changing the lighting to suit the mood. But the way she uses the soft basic brush makes everything look flat and muddy to me.

But hey, I've already said I'm a nitpicky asshole. I do enjoy most things about the comic, and even most of the author's art. But the one thing that I dislike bothers me enough that it weighs the whole thing down to mediocre IMO.

Oh god. That comic with the rat aliens.

I looked to see what it was about and ended up reading it all in one sitting. The last page at the time was the slap fight.

This thread is making me want to go back and catch up.
>>
>>82918222
It's only had about 4 pages since then
>>
>>82918238
Wow, you're right.

This either updates once a month (loosely) or at the artist's leisure.
>>
>>82918391
I think it updates on average every 2 weeks.

>>82918391

>I'd be upholding the integrity of the story by keeping it as a one-time thing, or if I would be doing this "niche comic" thing wrong by not including others.
Keep in mind a lot of people reading it are doing so because they're fans of transformation-based stories and will likely want to see more simply because they like the subject moreso than any belief that it would be good for the story.
That's not to say you shouldn't do it though.

If someone else does get tf'd, it shouldn't be into a yinglet
I can't say whether or not it would be good for the comic, but I'd definitely rather see someone get sliver'd or something instead.

The Meek seems to update on and off. I honestly stopped following it years ago, when the author dropped it. She started Mare Internum not too long ago. But she also picked up The Meek again. I haven't bothered to check either out, to be honest.

>Artist used to draw nothing but human weightgain fetish art under a pseudonym.

There is seriously no webcomic artist who doesn't have some ridiculous fetish, is there?

fixed that for you

After seeing fetishes for beestings, getting sucked into things, and being flushed down toilets, this is entirely true.

I'm a fan of transformation-based stories and would much prefer if it was focused in the continued struggles of the one transformed party.

Well, the problem with trans people is that the brain does not match the body. I can only assume that in TF stories, the brain changes as well.

After all, trans people who take hormones immediately start noticing mental changes that cleave very closely to what you see in TF comics.

Don't expect too much logic in porn comics.
This issue is much different with magic and species change involved. Trannies get to stay the same species and don't lose like 80% of their height/mass. If yinglets have a heat cycle then Kass's life is going to get a lot weirder.

Are you the guy who asked about Neathery's fetish art in the Endtown thread?

Don't do that there, KingCheetah and a couple of the other artists are hyper-defensive of the guy and you'll just trigger them.
