Have you ever cried watching cartoons, /co/?

Be honest.
>>
I came close in that one scene in Wreck it Ralph where Ralph smashes the car because he thinks he's saving Vanellope
>>
>>82748310
I've teared up. I wasn't a fan of UTRH, but the ending was GOAT.

The Illusionist made me cry.

And it's become a yearly tradition for me to watch The Snowman and weep like a little bitch.
>>
The Tale of Iroh fucking devastated me, along with the song Stoick and his wife sang when they finally reunited in HTTYD2.

Same. I almost never tear up watching movies, but there's something about animated films that just get me in ways live action can't. Pic very much related.

>>82748362

I didn't really get that much involved in the plot, but the last scene sucker punched so many feels out of me.
>>
>>82748310
The last unicorn I love that movie I don't care what anyone says. I'm gonna read that to my kids some day. Well as long as everything with my fiance works out.
>>
>>82748356
Every time I tell people IRL that Wreck-It Ralph made me tear up, they assume it was this scene. But for me, it was the VERY end, where Ralph says he likes when the player beats the game since it's the only time he can see Vanellope in the Sugar Rush cabinet. 'bout made me cry like a bitch nigga.
>>
not sure if this is really /co/ related, but cyborg 009 manages to make me feel things i didnt know i could feel anymore.

>that dog episode

guess futurama to a lesser extent.
>>
>>82748310
The closest I came to crying was probably the episode of Avatar where Iroh is singing the song about his dead son.
>>
>>82749543
Jurassic Bark got me the first time I saw it.

>>82748840
I watched The Last Unicorn for the first time last week. I assume the book is better, it was hard to discern most of the character motivations.

pic related got me pretty bad.
>>
>>82748310
I cry every time I watch Up or Toy Story 3. I've yet to see Inside Out but I heard it has the same effect.

I actually laugh at that scene and still one of the best moments in that movie.

Just remembered two other times I've cried

>In the Flintstones version of a Christmas Carol when Fred is shown Tinny Tim's (Bambam's) grave. It hits me harder for some reason, I didn't even watch a lot of Flintstones

>When Iroh is singing that song on the anniversary of his sons death, it was so sudden

and as I was writing this I also remembered

>That Futurama episode when Fry tries to get back his lucky clover from his brother but it turned out it belonged to his brothers son. That last flashback, just fuck my shit up senpai ;_;

>The end of Seymors episode I will wait for you... For a thousand summers...

We met it seems, such a short time ago. You looked at me, needing me so. Yet from your sadness, our happiness grew. Then I found out, I need you, too. I remember how we used to play. I recall those rainy days, the fires glowed, that kept us warm. And now I find, we're both alone. Goodbye may seem forever, farewell is like the end. But in my heart's a memory, and there you'll always be.

>Have you ever cried watching cartoons, /co/?

I'm cheating and using anime since a cartoon has never made me cry, but:

When Marnie was There made me weep. I literally weeped.

I watched the Dub and it was done spectacularly, but just something about this little introverted, socially awkward girl really hit home hard for me.

Taking this path i would say the first 5 min of Grave of the Fireflies is the only thing that made me cry.
Seeing the boy and his little sister meet again in the afterlife made me cry a lot.
And for the rest of the movie you just want to see them be happy in the cruel world, but you know how it ends...

I don't blame them for taking their time. Push too fast, and they'll end up having to do a load of filler so the manga can play catch-up.

>>82753856
maybe, but after the previous gen of long runners I get annoyed when it becomes obvious that a series cares more about having as many episodes as possible rather than good narrative flow. I would honestly prefer a one year gap between each season that 6x decompressed storytelling

and yeah that's not where the money is, but the narrative is still suffering for it
>>

All the time. I never. Cry in real life situations but with movies and cartoons and comics and shit. Always.
