I like that CN airs 7 new episodes of 7 shows in 3 hours now. Hell next week they're having 8 shows on (WBB at 7:15pm, but it isn't new). I just wish AT aired for more than literally one episode a week though.

Its also essentially all the main CN shows except for UG, which still airs new episodes on Saturday mornings. They don't give a shit about Pokemon or Transformers, and the other WB shows have been shifted to Boomerang.

Just saw the episode.

Parts of it were pretty good, but on the whole it seemed kind of unfocused and muddled. Still, lots of really funny and interesting parts in it, and I liked Normal Man throughout it. The mountain was really rad.

Fucking really though, they couldn't even let a nobody like GGGG die? Goddammit AT if you don't wanna kill characters that's fine but stop fucking killing them and bringing them back to life. Yeah sure I guess this was needed to finish Magic Man's arc but fuck off Glob barely even did anything, there could have been another way to do that.

Overall 7/10, not an amazing episode for Jesse to go out on but pretty good. Just had to get one more MM episode in, I bet the bastard wouldn't let anyone else touch his baby.

I wanted to bump and talk here all day but couldn't, jesus it's great to be back on here.

First off, I really loved the 3D moment of going up the mountain, it had nice movements and didn't feel laggy (where the panning was at either a bad frame rate or wasn't consistent on how far it moved per frame) and other than that, it felt more interesting than Bun Bun, and showcased more of what the show's animation can accomplish.

I've only watched it once, and usually I feel motivated by something in the episode to atleast check it out again right after a MEGA is up.

That said, it was just kinda slow, I love these characters, with as long as it's been on the air, and I've been with it since it's premiere (and Pilot on nickelodeon) I've sort of grown up with it. I will watch any episode for the characters atleast once, the story has to hold up and all that too, but even if I missed an episode everyone hates (like Breezy) I still check it out because there's at least always one good thing about the episode (whether that saves it or not doesn't matter)

The few things I can think of since I saw it last(?) Thursday were the somewhat lack of jokes, and the issue that if you don't find Bun Bun's antics funny or interesting, that swells the time more, they were right to focus on the titular character, but it wasn't played out really interesting. I'd say the first minute or so and the last 2 minutes were decently interesting.

I also don't like rap much if at all, and while that sounds in bad taste, I'm not holding it against the episode, it's just a thing.

I'd likely call it a 4-6/10, while some of Bun Bun was cute and sweet, which I like, other times it just seemed like it went on too long, not sure how to say it. Bun Bun was fine but without a secondary focus for her, it didn't seem to hold.

Different guy but it just needed more interesting stuff happening. The fact that it was focused around Cinnamon Bun and Bun Bun (both pretty dull characters) really dragged it down.
There were a few parts were CB was actually alright, it's kind of cool how he's trying to move past his idiot past, but he's still pretty boring to watch.
Bun Bun had some small parts that were funny and endearing but overall she was waaay too cookie cutter and cliche, the whole button scene was boring as hell.

The things I can say the episode did good were Flame King, who was surprisingly funny even after such a long absence and kept well true to his character, and the Finn and FP stuff. REALLY should have dedicated more time to that subplot since it would have taken some of the boring scenes away from CB/BB and given more time to Finn and Flame Princess actually interacting for the first time in fucking years. The fact that they only got like 3 minutes of the episode is so stupid, I wonder if that was because Xayaphone didn't wanna have to write more shit for her.

I'm guess your main reason for disliking Bun Bun, is the same reason you like Normal Man. To me, I felt Bun Bun was paved normally, with a comfy pacing, with about the same as you would have in real life. However in Normal Man, I felt that they had a lot going on, in little time. The scene where they were rushing to the Tiny Manticore , we could have done it just as effectively while paying more attention to the fight scenes. Also when Normal Man, is going to Mars, I felt we could have more interaction with the Martians. Marcy and Finn seldom hang out together, which is a bit of a shame they had good chemistry.

In "Don't Look," Finn obtains magic eyes and views Bonnie as a "bro," and I seriously doubt it was to show that he is interested in her. Finn seems to not have an attraction to her. I think the only part of The Comet I actually liked was Finn realizing he was basically fucked and just asking the universe if it could lend him a hand. That was pretty neat, it's not often we see a situation like that where Finn's so far in over his head that he can't do anything but fruitlessly beg the universe to save his ass somehow.

But everything else was so lame. Orgalorg had the potential to be neat but he went out like a chump, the entire interaction with the comet was pretty dumb, Finn's grass arm once again saves the day while requiring Finn to not have to do anything at all, and then everything goes back to normal with nothing significant having happened. I guess Finn became more happy and wanted to enjoy life and shit, but it's not like that was a big difference from the way he was acting in the episodes before The Comet.

I still really don't get what they were building up the comet stuff for half of season 6 for if this is how they decided to end it.
