I have never seen a show that tried less than Avengers Assemble. You can feel the lack of passion in every episode and it's emotionally draining to watch.

Obviously EMH, but I've grown to accept Avengers Assemble as being it own weird mix of action and comedy. Not great, but sometimes something you could stand watching if nothing else is on.

Squadron was better as separated episodes, but I think the Thunderbolts episodes were the first time they tried to do something more and had a minimum of character development. It was perfect? No, because it was rushed, they could unfold the plan along the entire season, but it was leagues better than the average episode.
