Most of us who were JSA fans and liked E2 at the started got burnt too badly on it going south and the shitstorm that was Worlds End to care anymore.

I like it, but there's too much baggage hanging over its head what with the looming changes from Rebirth and just feeling like anything that happens now is going to get retconned out of existence before it goes anywhere.

I don't think anyone would disagree with the idea that Abnett has done a decent job with this book if you only look at his issues in a vacuum, but it's an uneasy thing right now not knowing what the plan might be in the long run. Can't really blame anyone for being hesitant to jump back in. DC treated this series very poorly post-Robinson.

To be fair this is the fifth good issue in a row after 45+ completely shitty issues, it's no surprise at all that people have been turned off Earth 2 in general

after they went out of their way to make me not give a fuck about anything Earth 2 I think Abnett is doing the best he can with what he has to work with but it's a poisoned well. Plus I already learned that they have zero qualms about ruining Earth 2 in a heartbeat so I don't really want to get invested in this again only to have them totally junk it yet again
