The end of the movie: they capture the bad guy, cap is a fugitive now and he is trying to rescue all of the others. NO ONE died

After credits: "blah blah, wakanda and T'challa"

After credits2: "blah blah, spiderman in school and The spider man will be back soon!"

At the end, Cap turns in the guy who was framing Bucky (turns out the dude was just angry about his family dying in Age of Ultron), breaks the rest of his team out of superhero jail, and they vanish, putting Bucky on ice again until they can find away to un-brainwash him. Tony and his team continue to do what the Avengers were doing before, now with laws and rules.

The post credits scene sets up a Spider-Man movie. (There's actually two of them, but fuck me if I remember the other one. Spidey comes second, at the very end of the credits.

It made sense, though.
Team Tony knew that Cap was there, and told the authorities to evacuate the airport. We hear the siren go off right after Ant-Man gets out of the van and Bucky translates for the non-german-speakers "They're evacuating the airport".

Realistically, after Lagos there's no way that Tony would go in without evacuating everyone first.

By the time she asked me why the fuck I was all shake-y, Scott gave her the answer.

Same happened when Tony and Widow were talking about how they needed new guys. She said "where's yours?" and Tony smiled, and my brain went kablooey.
Apparently I let out a sound.

You know guys, no matter the flaws those movies definitely have, they truly give some great moments of joy.

>X-men

>CW
>GOTG

On top of that superior comics for a very very long time.

Only thing DC fans have to show for is the DK trology, a couple good vg and some animation movies nobody cares about.

>I can't imagine how awful it must be to be a Hollywood executive who has no clue what they're doing

They are all borderline sociopaths. They do not "feel" anything.

They will look at charts and graphs and declare "our movie did poorly because it seems the target demographic shifted. They now prefer R rated super heroes like Deadpool and we were too late to cash in on the avengers team movie phenomenon".

They can't comprehend concepts like "good films or bad films". They view the entire industry from a marketing perspective and they are only interested in following trends.

This is why WB will fail. They rushed to make their own avengers film without stopping to consider what made the first movie such a success. They will make that same mistake when they rush out to make their own R rated superhero film to "cash in on the deadpool trend".

This, your average hollywood big wig is someone with an average to below average IQ who has bluffed their way up through the industry by either happenstance, sycophantry or nepotism. Everything is a matter of risk management and calculated business decisions where the audience only exists in black or white trends of demographic farming and pop culture fads. No one wants to do anything new or original because it is risky, unproven, so when in doubt they follow the example of someone else who is successful or make a remake of an old film that was successful.

This is why the success of Harry Potter led to a flood of similar cash-ins (Narnia, Terabithia, Golden Compass, etc). This is why we for some reason have a trend in fairy tail movies now (Jack the Giant Slayer, The Huntsman, Red Riding Hood, Hansel & Gretel, Oz the Great and Powerful, Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland/Looking Glass, Mirror Mirror, Malefecent). This is why we had a whole stint of 80s cash-in remakes (Transformers, TMNT, Robocop, Red Dawn, Big Trouble in little China Town, Total Recall, etc)

You're just being flippant, contrarian and possibly autistic. You know full damn well why people cheer for shit like that, it just triggers you for some reason so now you're just making a scene about it in a vain attempt to convey your contempt.

Are you required to use golf clubs when playing golf, considering if you hit the ball with any part of your body and it moves when you're not just marking it that's considered a stroke?

If not, it would make sense. He could have just used a bow and the in-universe explanation is that he can aim of perfectly enough to go straight in the hole.

I'm more worried about Black Panther. Sure, the guy they got to play him was great, but the script/storyline of his film could ruin everything.

I think the director was on set for CW, so I'm not too worried.

Ryan Coogler shares writing duties and already had a hand in how T'Challa was handled this movie. Also Civil War's ending is a good natural tie-in to whatever might happen in his solo outing.
>>

These days Hawkeye is seen as a Bullseye style character that can have perfect aim with anything. Mostly the fault of the Ultimate universe, but I don't mind the idea.

No way is he gonna make a teenager an active member of the Avengers, so Peter's out. Nat is on the run, but possibly by herself- though I wouldn't rule out her joining up with either Cap's secret avangers or Fury.

Point is, it's really just Tony, Vision and 50% of Rhodey. He's gonna need a serious recruitment effort to get a real team back together.

He does the "exposed, weird and eccentric" teenager much better than Toby and Andrew, and I actually kind of liked his banter during the battle scene. I like Toby but I felt he was missing a certain kind of energy and spunk, he just sounded too hush about everything. Tom seemed to really hit it.

Strange will probably be his own man

Carol is off in space and so are the Guardians

Who does Tony have left? Maybe since he has the shield they'll introduce US Agent as the new Cap until Steve comes back

Oh shit I hadn't even considered that. Maybe they'll repaint the shield too to fix the scratch on it.

Also, any bets that Cap might have a holographic shield for at least part of Avengers 3? They introduced the idea in Agents of SHIELD.
>>
>>82612527
Black Panther will probably make him a new one. The old one can go to Bucky. That'll be his "penance" maybe, Howard made it so he carries it as a reminder of his "sins" (even though I think the idea that he's guilty for it because he was brainwashed is bullshit).
>>
>>82611798
No doubt. Casting RDJ as Iron Man and Chris Evans as Captain America might have been some of the lead-role casting decisions ever, they were at first perfect caricatures but they've evovled the characters even better. Paul Rudd and Chris Hemsworth as Antman and Thor are also really good decisions IMO. Ruffalo should have always been Hulk. We'll see how Cumberbatch does as Dr. Strange.

I know Nick Fury was changed to basically be Samuel L. Jackson but it's still a great casting decision.

I'd have Arnim Zola making a play for the Vibranium, manipulating M'Baku, Batroc and Klaue towards this purpose. Give Klaue a cyber-weapon arm, and Batroc and M'Baku exoskeleton enhancements.
Have Klaue vaporized by his own weapon arm when it interacts with the Vibranium, the other two defeated, Zola manages to escape with some Vibranium.

Sets up Klaw, and Zola as Crimson Dynamo in a Veronica-inspired suit with Vibranium enhancement.

Why is it so green? It wasn't this green in the theater today.
I'm gonna have to color correct it to the trailers before I screen cap anything.

It was part of Zemo's master plan. It wouldn't have worked otherwise.

Was anyone else sad the post-credits Wakanda plug was just a damn panther statue and not a bigass gleaming African technocity?

Likely the guy recording it couldn't do a proper white balance before the movie started.

>cam rips
Isn't this a TC? I mean you could call that a 'cam rip' in the most literal sense of the phrase, but it's hardly what I'd call a "cam" in the context of torrenting.

Me, but I understand why. The Russos shouldn't be the ones to design Wakanda, that should be Coogler's job.

I kept confusing Zemo for Bucky because I kept figuring he'd cut his hair to be incognito.
>>
>>82620755
It's a shame LEGO spoiled it.
>>
>>82620505
Consider it a sequel hook and nothing more.
Chances are the design of Wakanda are still on the drawing board so what else to represent Black Panther than a giant black panther?

You obviously rubbed two brain cells together and understood what it was supposed to mean so the Russos got their point across, done deal.
>>
>>82620801
I thought it was those Funko or Pop Vinyl figures or whatever they're called spoiled that.
>>
>>82616910
not really. If Peter is 15-17 range for the movie, he's in high school, and by high school, you pretty much know what every culturally significant movie is about
>>
>>82620505
I was expecting the city but at the same time they probably haven't even drawn it up yet because the film isn't for another year+
>>
It's pretty telling of how good the performance was when even /co/ can't find anything to pick on about the new Spider-man except his custome and that he wasn't a Star Wars geek

Lego was first, Funko pop basically confirmed it

P.S. The Giant Man Funko is awesome

The suit kinda Tom and Jerry'd back to not being damaged after that though. He had like a couple seconds of being inconvenienced and then he was back to normal for the rest of the fight.

Thought it was annoying as fuck that after Steve and Cap are captured and brought in, Tony and Natasha immediately are treating them like shit. Like yeah, they made things worse and Steve and Sam COULD be in jail but really? That's Captain America, Natasha became a fugitive and went on the run from him and you've been following his lead for like 6 years chill the fuck out.
