I find it hard to objectively rank artists. Ross is fucking amazing, though. His art is so good I feel like it doesn't belong it comic books. Like, it's ruined by having these massive, garish, white speech bubbles plastered all over it.

Ross art doesn't work for comics. He should stick to making pretty covers. Never been a fan.

I love Ross and I love Marvel but for some reason the two rarely seem to work as well as his DC stuff
Maybe because DC designs just work better with real spandex whereas Marvel characters were mostly designed by Kirby and just not built to the same aesthetic? I dunno but with few exceptions Marvel characters look weird in Ross's style but the entire DC pantheon looks great
