Is Civil War worth getting for $5 on Comixology? Any tie ins good?
>>82530669
It's worth getting only for free.
No idea about tie-ins. Cable & Deadpool, I liked that one.
>>82530669
1) yes
2) not really. Cable & Deadpool was pretty funny, and the Nextwave parody was fun. Most of the rest was weak
>>82530669
Good God, no.
Nah to both
For $5 sure.
The tie-ins were almost all pretty bad. It was just characters standing around, bitching about the Civil War going on and re-iterating the two sides of the argument over and over.
>>82530669
holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiit I just realized the V and W mirror each other hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
>>82530842
>For $5 sure.
Don't listen to this faggot. It's not even worth your time even free.
>>82530742
This
>>82530669
>Is Civil War worth getting for $5 on Comixology?
You couldn't even pay me $5 to reread Civil War.
Don't let the movie being great fool you, the comic is hot fucking garbage.
>>82530669
Not even for $1
>>82530669
Nah the comic is actually shit and the movie managed to pull off the idea much better
>those poor unfortunate souls who will check out comic Civil War after the movie
What a way to be introduced to comics.
>>82530669
Tie ins, yeah, somewhat.
The main comic is...hell the whole movie is not only better it makes the comic looks like utter shit, and it was already one of the worst along with Identity Crisis.
Hell the movie is so much better I cannot begin to explain, for example Tony descendant into madness in the movie made sense, in the comic he gradually gets bonkers.
>>82532695
Marvel is hot garbage nowdays with no redeeming titles. It is not a bad thing if they drop it right away.
I loved the Civil War comic.I'm glad One More Day happened too, although I agree with my fellow Web-Heads that the execution was shit.
>>82530669
You should give the MightyGodKing parody a read as it makes the comic that much better.
>>82530669
>paying for digital comics
lol
$5 is too much
its regrettable for free
>>82530669
No.
If you're really curious about it, just put in a couple of extra dollars (I think $8.99?) for a month of Marvel Unlimited and read it there, plus get a bunch of other stuff.
>>82532742
You know, it does feel pretty retared that they're all wearing their costumes in a private place where they all know each other
>>82533759
Miriam Sharpe was the worst thing to happen to comics in ten years.
>>82533831
This
She just served to keep Tony going full retard
>>82534151
I know everyone shits on this storyline, the core conflict was BS, that's not really Daredevil but someone in disguise, but it's the moments like this that were 10/10.
>>82534438
>venom on ironmans side
But... why?
>>82534468Scorpion with venom symbiote
>>82534472
who is the guy in the far back that looks like a hydra agent?
I never got why people hate this event so much.
To me it seems fine.
>>82534472
>Evens the odds
>Thor, Reed Richards, Iron Man, and She Hulk all on the same side
Fuck is Cap stupid, one of the main reasons I don't like him
>>82534741
I'm pretty that final fight in the movie is literally this page.
>>82534725
it's obnoxiously tied to so many books, and the follow-up is really lame.
honestly issued in a pretty bad era for marvel
>>82532633
Allahu ackbar
>>82532633
Allahu AkbarThis scene will never not piss me off.
>>82534791
>>82534786
>Ackbar mind.
Wew lad.
>>82532701
>>82532710
Is she retarded. He legitimately had shit to do with this.
OP, if you have it, could you please storytime The Death of Captain America?
I've wanted to read it for a while.
>>82534822
Shes the worst person in this comic run. She blames tony for everything, then when tony becomes a fucking commie nazi like supes in injustice shes fine with itwould have been perfect if she was mephesto
>>82532790
>>82532805
>>82532820
Just ask him to fucking arrest heroes goddammit Jesus fucking Christ can she do anything right
>>82532820
>>82532865
You can't arrest someone based on a law that won't exist for another 2 fucking weeks, all he's doing is disagreeing with your idiotic plan
>>82530669
Do you guys Mcniven's art now or from this period? I think it has deteriorated quite a bit.
>>82534891
Wait, is that Bishop next to Vision?
I could've sworn no mutant wanted to be part of this shit.
>>82534891
Holy shit, Johnny's face, I've never notice that before.
>>82530669
Tie-ins? I dunno...
>>82533061
So putting all their families and friends at risk to work for a shady government orginazatio that truly does not give a shit about public option is somehow smart
>>82535001
Did you just completely skip this page?
>>82533335
>>82533219
Dumbass
The end
>>82534027
Thank God for Frank
>>82533219
And this, people, is the beginning of the end Peter's life as we once knew it.
Fuck everything.
anyone got the death of Captain America?
>>82534340
Fucking Frank.
>>82534380
>Being this jealous you can't Frank motherfuckers like Frank
>>82532633
>superheroes decide to blame New Warriors instead of the supervillian
>cite lack of training despite Nitro being far more powerful than any other time on record
in a more perfect world, the Wolverine tie-in would be the main story
>>82534754
hey look it's the dumbest moment in a comic filled with dumb moments
>>82530669
I still stand by the idea that this is one of the worst stories Marvel has ever done. It fucking baffles me that it's become as popular as it has, beyond normies who never actually read it. Every character is completely personality swapped, every "big event" is only for shock value and is ignored or retconned later, the dialogue is immensely stupid (cue Captain America's super villain-level speech), and it set a standard for Marvel that caused the entire company's output quality to nosedive.
Fuck everyone involved in this thing, even if they want to scream "it wasn't me." This is effectively was shot the entire company in the foot, even more than the 90s ever did.
>>82536213
>the supervillain speech was in the movie
well at least Cap wasn't completely in the right there, I guess
>>82534983
His DoW work was the most tolerable art I've ever seen from him
>There's now a Civil War II
Who wanted this shit?
>>82533040
Quesada get the fuck out.
>>82534027
What the hell frank, they were trying to help you.
>>82535104
Fuck off, Frankfag.
>>82538360
Meant for this page, >>82534340 dunno what happened.
>>82534577
In the green, with the grenade bandoleer? Old character named Solo.
>>82532570
Thank god Night Thrasher is back in the realm of the living.
>>82530669
>Is Civil War worth getting for $5 on Comixology?
No. Apps a shit
>Any tie ins good?
Yes.
Punisher was good, maybe the only good thing Fraction ever wrote.
The Cap ones are decent.
I enjoyed the Spidey ones.
>>82532583
Why do they need to get in costumes?
>>82532695
Casuals are easy to please
They'll just believe it's good and enjoy it because it's Marvel
