I've never heard of these, but that team is GOAT. Have you had a chance to read them yet?
How was Animal Man once Morrison left?
Great collection! Looks like you have good taste.

Thanks!
I have not had a chance to read Seven Soldiers or post-Morrison Animal Man yet, but I've been told that they are both fantastic, especially Seven Soldiers, which I've been told is GM's best work.

there's nothing wrong with criterion unless you think there's something wrong with releasing classic films in better formats, fantagraphics also puts out newer stuff too. if your only problem is the "sickening cult" then that's your problem for caring about people you won't even run into that often.

Yes, that whole era of Superman comics by him, Marv Wolfman, and Jerry Ordway are great

All 12 copies of it.

Is Blood Shot decent? I wasn't thorghouly impressed with the Harbinger Wars tie in issue I had when I was pulling Harbinger on my list.

We don't get FCBD down where I'm at, but I did go to a comic book fair and got all of this. Really, really surprised by the Helltrekkers TPB. That's a Dredd spinoff that never even had a proper UK TPB, and it got one down here on account of the artist being a countryman. Really cool.

This is a tg/co crossover post but i don't want to snap more pictures.
Also got a big load of comics coming the mail so i am a happy consumer.

I think Free Comic Book Day in the UK is pretty poor compared to the likes of US or Canada, my local doesn't really do anything at all that spectacular except for a bunch of sales on floppies I think, I could've went in today but there wasn't much I wanted and if any FCBD related items to my pull list are there they usually reserve them for me. I think we've had a few artists come down previously but none I can remember at the moment.

Nobody cared about it, it also featured a ton of expensive talent so it needed to generate a ton of money which it failed miserably at, even today it would bomb if people like Corben, McCarthy, Chaykin etc. did their own things and not just DC stories.

Bloodshot 1-13 were great. Didn't read much of Bloodshot and the Hard Corps (really only the Archer and Armstrong crossover issues), but what I read wasn't bad. Bloodshot Reborn is consistantly one of my favorite comics each month, but you should read The Valiant first.

Django Unchained. And I'll have no idea what to read next thanks to the trade sale at Royal. 16 books, 120 bucks and a need fora third fucking pile now. I think I need to seek help.

And food. Damn I'm hungry.

Fun Wally stories that're playing with the limits of his powers. Only downside is the Black Flash arc has bad art.
