A Rogue of Light would distribute the enemy's luck among their party, and a Thief of Void would probably conjure shit for personal use. The lines are kind of blurry because obviously Roxy has the ability to summon things for personal use. A role is more than just powers, but their role in the story. Roxy is a robin hood esque character who steals pumpkins for the starving carapacians, whereas Vriska is rather self centered.

It's important to note that Roxy didn't actually steal the matriorb. She dispersed from the orb its nothingness, leaving an object, and that's the extent of the power.

A Thief of Void probably wouldn't be able to conjure objects at all, their powers would be focused on taking things that other people have obscured for their own use, stealing secrets, stealing hiding places, stealing their ability to be unobserved.

A Rogue of Light wouldn't necessarily go "your luck is now my allies' " so much as "Your luck is now gone, and everything around you is slightly luckier, hopefully including my allies".
