Not to pile on the guy but yeah it could be called boring really easily since there has been little action so far and the plot is mostly just the characters traveling to the exam and now they're taking the exam with the first part being running. The running only lasts for about 20 mins next ep but these beginning eps are only saved by the animation quality and characters being enjoyable to watch.

It's more genre-based. Look at the lineup of NuToonami through the years and you'll see a clear pattern in shows
