First for Cortosis Pike
>>82396400
Would that old Jedi temple have that though?
>>82396400
both cortosis and a pike are shit
>>82396400
Osmosis Jones?
From the old thread
Some one please post the clone wars episode guides
I want to rewatch it again
>>82395587
I think they they just liked taking old dialogue and using it to make new dialogue. I mean why include anything from Guinness at all when they had McGregor? And they could have just used Guinness entirely to repeat the line about taking the first steps into a larger world? The Force had Yoda repeating lines too.
I think that is all less significant than the fact that Obi-Wan was (apparently) speaking directly to her. Yoda was just repeating lines, or maybe it was the Force echoing him, but Obi-Wan spoke to her directly. Of course that could ALSO be the Force since it has no problem manipulating visions, but in this case I think it was really him.
>>82396483
Why not a pike?
>>82396582
I don't even know why people keep asking for these when you can find them easily using google. Just search "Clone wars episode guide" under images, bam, first result gets you there.
Why am I shooting werewolves in a level that is probably inspired by beat'em ups?
>>82396628
I tried, buy I didn't found the /co/ one
>>82396590
I can't imagine it ever looking good on screen.
Guys
The Rey pike is from a magnaguard? those are made of cortosis
at least it look like one
>>82396400
As fun as Cortosis is, the problem with suddenly introducing is that it raises the question, "Why the fuck hasn't it been used before?"
>>82396654
That's where I found the one I posted
>>82396637
You might be shooting Shistavanens. They're wolfmen in Star Wars and even shown up in that Chewie comic.
>>82396697
>Why the fuck hasn't it been used before
>Say it's a super rare material
problem solved
>>82396690
>>82396697
Electric weapons have been shown to be able to resist a lightsaber before, which sort of makes sense if you imagine the magnetic field around the object caused by the flowing electricity is repelling the lightsaber's blade (which is plasma contained in a magnetic field).
This has been shown in electrostaffs, like those the Magnaguards or Mandalorian Royal Guard use, and even nonmetallic weapons like TR-8R's riot baton. They just need to have some current going through them.
>>82396637
Of course I forgot the image. Now I just wonder if these thing have an irrational hatred of Pau'ans or Umbarans that's been going on for millennia.
Hey does anyone have a webm of the scene in the first episode of Season Six, where the droids steal Tup from the shuttle and kill all the other clones on board in one continue shot? I really need it.
>>82396774
>look them up
Holy crap, they are literally just werewolves, cept without the were
>>82396697
Cortosis is back in the new canon and already used in a way that probably makes you wonder why nobody else has thought to use it, since it rendered Vidian blaster resistant. But he's an eccentric rich asshole with insider knowledge of such materials and was fully capable of appropriating/misappropriating them for his purpose.
No clue how it works against lightsabers in new canon. It could possibly diffuse the energy of the blade and render it harmless to the person you're attacking.
>>82396870
Fun fact: "Were" is an old English word for "man". It's cognate with the Latin "vir".
So "Werewolf" is literally "man-wolf". We lost "were" as a word for man but it stayed in "werewolf".
>>82396864
This scene, sorry, forgot the image
>>82396787
>A material that is highly resistant to both blaster fire and lightsabers
>Not questioning why any military would not stripmine the galaxy for the stuff
That shit would be so OP it's stupid. At least in the old canon. You'd be crazy to not use it if you knew about it.
>>82396878
And that is exactly why I dislike the material. It just makes shit too OP. I just fucking question why the fuck isn't anyone that knows about it trying to sell that shit or use it.
>>82397092
We know they have some badass bodyarmors. Obi-Wan took a high powered sniper rifle shot to the chest to fake his death. You'd think they would outfit their entire army with gear like that, but no not even for commanders or ARC Troopers.
And shields we know are lightsaber resistant, but despite the gungans having personal shields, some command droids used them at least once (the arc with Even Piell), and Mandalorians have wrist mounted shield bracers.
>>82397092
>I just fucking question why the fuck isn't anyone that knows about it trying to sell that shit or use it.
Well, like that other anon said, it could be extremely rare. But lets be honest, even if it was rare or hard to make into armor, people would be looking in every nook and cranny of the galaxy trying to find the mother lode and would have found enough of it to make a small, near-indestructible army that's both resistant to litghtsabers and blaster shots.
>>82396655
Now that I think about it, the fights really would look pretty awkward.
I don't see it ever happening in live action.
>In this third full-length adventure, Milo and Lina arrive on the planet Lothal, source of a mysterious transmission promising help against the Empire. With a bounty hunter on their tail, and a ruthless crime boss to contend with, can they pull off a daring heist?
>In this fourth full-length adventure, Milo and Lina find themselves adrift in a starship that is spiralling towards disaster. A dangerous criminal is on the loose, the Empire is closing in – and something even deadlier awaits them in the darkness …
>>82397545
>>82397555
So the main characters are human?
>>82397691
Yep. Human siblings, their pet monkey-lizard, and their droid abomination CR-8R
>>82397545
Is that...Professor Huyang?
>>82397728
>their droid abomination CR-8R
Sweet Jesus that sure as hell is.
>>82397545
>>82397555
This sounds similar to the Galaxy of Horror books.
>>82397728
Jesus Christ how horrifying....
>>82397728
Ah. I wish more Star Wars stuff had alien main characters. And not near-human ones.
>>82397809
Star Wars proving once again that Humans are the only race that matters in the universe.
>Milo and Lina arrive on the planet Lothal, source of a mysterious transmission promising help against the Empire
Possibly Ezra's transmission, or perhaps even cooler, the transmissions we've been told that his parents put out. A very cool connection if true.
>>82397802
I've only read the prelude chapters so far, but it seems like a fun little adventure in the same vein as Servants of the Empire, which was a fun series.
>>82397753
Nope, it's a hybrid of droid parts salvaged by Lina and Milo's mother, they she left to babysit them.
>>82397809
Me too. I get why human protagonists are so popular, but I would still like more alien stories. Or even droids. Rogue One has a pretty big droid character it seems. But not a single alien in that trailer...
>>82397545

>>82397913

>>82397985
Old empire was never fond of aliens.Would expect to see at least some on the rebellion side though.
>>82397985
>Me too. I get why human protagonists are so popular, but I would still like more alien stories. Or even droids. Rogue One has a pretty big droid character it seems. But not a single alien in that trailer...
They probably try to justify it with some "Aliens aren't relatable" bullshit. Aliens in Star Wars basically have the same personalities as humans. The only thing different is their physical appearance.
>>82398020
>of course some can be sex slaves
>>82398181
"Fans" flip their shit whenever the star of a movie isn't a white male, because they can't relate to a woman or male with different skin color. Trying to get them to relate to something even less than human is hard to do.
>>82398392
Yet we got Ahsoka in TCW, a character that was generally well accepted though, wasn't she?
Why TFA has no star wars aliens? only a wookie and the mexican race
>>82398487
Only once she proved herself and guys realized they wanted to do naughty things with her.
>>82398543
There was a bonthan in Maz's cantina
Is there a good collection of the nose art from The Clone Wars? I wish there was better shots of it in the show.
>>82397555
>tom huddleston
>>82398487
>a character that was generally well accepted though
>Ahsoka
>Well accepted
Years later. The first two seasons and the movie she was practically hated
>>82398630
well only 3
where are the rest? I hardly felt it like an SW movie
NOT EVEN A TWI' LEK
>>82398392
Honestly, in my opinion, an alien's appearance would be so far removed from the general black/white human thing that I think many people would be mostly okay with it. You know what I mean? Like the uncanny valley, but different.
>>82398830
The less twi'leks the better
>>82397728
Fuck, I want a new droidworks game
>>82399004
You disgust me.
>>82398582
>>82398783
Oh, okay. Sorry, I got into TCW only within the past year, so looked like she was generally just accepted.
>>82398630
>>82398830
They weren't bothans. There was that one ithorian looking thing with the pertty mouth tho.
>>82399060
Ah. So you don't know then
The amount of hate Ahsoka had from first introduction to roughly end of S2 was something fierce
It calmed down once S3 rolled in
>>82399004
Agreed. Though I'd extend that statement to near-humans in general.
>>82399127
>S3 rolled in
Which would also be the time she got her costume change IIRC
I keep trying to derail these threads into discussing the lewd things we want to see happen to Kanan but it never takes off.
>>82399165
And when they calmed down the kids show angle
Really, S3 calmed down a lot of thing.
>>82399060
No, the general fanbase absolutely despised her, and you was seen as the cancer of Star Wars if you liked her early on.
In fact, I remember a lot of unironic claims that she was worse than Jar Jar, and she permanently tainted the franchise forever, and ruined Anakin, ect, ect.
I also remember people shitting on Lucas hard, claiming TCW was what he always wanted, to make a "completely CGI toy advertisement", and to never have to deal with live action ever again.
But in time, especially around the season 3-4 time of TCW, people began to warm up to her, acknowledging her development. By season 5, there was manly tears, and then cheering when she returned in Rebels.
My and my friends felt outcasted, because I really liked Ahsoka, and my friends loved the movie because of Rex and the Clones, so it was weird seeing everyone and their mother shitting on it. Glad everyone warmed up to the show and its characters in the end. The start was admittedly rough though, no denying it.
>>82399370
It's really petty of me, but I don't particularly enjoy her presence simply because she's a togruta.
>>82399004
>Some people just want to watch the galaxy burn
>>82399431
>but I don't particularly enjoy her presence simply because she's a togruta.
>Because she's a togruta
>He doesn't like Togruta's
Oh you fucked up
You fucked up, Anon
>>82399127
>>82399370
Looking at the movie, I should of realized that it was probably not that welcomed in the beginning. Jesus, it's actually kind of amazing it lasted as long as it did if it started like that. I mean, the first few seasons aren't horrible, but they're not really that appealing for a bit.
Honestly I'm kind of glad I only watched it now and started browsing these threads now. I really grew to like her and her effect on Anakin through the show. And the focusing on the clones and their sort of personalities just, man really fucking grew to love it.
I still haven't finished yet though, on the last two seasons. Then going to get into rebels. I'm really bad at finishing stuff....
>>82399004
>>82399157
>>82399521
It's really dumb, but I just cannot enjoy near-humans. Not alien enough for me to drool over, but also not human enough for conventional attractiveness to me.
>>82399521
Reducing a character down to just one characteristic as justification for liking them is stupid. That's why twi'lekfags are so pathetic.
>>82399370
I sort of liked her from the very beginning, but then again I also only got into TCW around 2011 or so once I could get a few seasons on dvd
>>82399431
>but I don't particularly enjoy her presence simply because she's a togruta.
Anon that's racist and xenophobic
>>82399640
Something funny actually, after the backlash of the movie, Lucas said in an interview that he wanted 100 TCW episodes made no matter what.
I never for a second believed him. I don't think anybody did. Even Filoni admitted he didn't think Lucas was serious. But he did it, the absolute madman, and all out of his pocket too. Because you're right, after the negative response of the movie, there is no way in hell any other series would have got a second season.
But Star Wars is Star Wars, and Lucas funded it himself, so as promised, they got their 100+ episodes. It's probably a good thing that he was used to heavy criticism by then I guess.

What is it with hardcore Star Wars fans hating new things that come out immediately, then slowly growing to love them over time?
Like I almost guarantee a majority of the fuckers that hate TFA for being "different" from the star wars they think is Star Wars will come around to loving it in a year or three and be hating on the newest one by that point.
>>82399790
I know, and I feel just awful about that. Though is it really xenophobic if I don't like them because they're not xeno -enough-?
>>82399792
Ah, that would explain it. At least something good came of it. Still can't stomach a lot of the political shit though. Some of it's okay, but especially when Jar Jar gets involved with them, I just can't.
>>82399837
I too feel that they're not Xeno enough, which is why inin my headcanonI believe that the near-humans or xenos like Twi'leks and Togruta are just genetically altered humans.
>>82399822
Real life version of pottery. Most fans saw the OT some number of years before the PT came out, and became enamored with their ""vision and style"" only to have it shat on by the Prequels. It just became the norm for SW now to like the old stuff and hate the new until the fans get over themselves.
>>82399911
For me, I just imagine them looking more alien when reading about them with no visuals to accompany the words.
>>82399911
I feel like it's more likely degenerates like you fuckers modified their genetics to impregnate/be impregnated by the more alien species of xenos.
Especially if humans were war-like and conquered in ages past. Humanity likes to fuck the shit out of whatever it conquers.

Not because he's a loser or anything, it's just the fact that they shoved him into nearly everything, less is more when it came to Cad Bane.
>>82400452
That makes me think. What would be the jedi decree on masturbating? Would they be okay with it as just a way to relieve sex drive? Cause unless you're pumping some chemical to suppress that shit, there's no stopping that. Especially if someone has an excessively high natural sex drive.

Hosnian Prime =/= Corsucant. It's safe. For now.
>>82401081
First season was a bit slow, but I enjoyed the second season quite a lot and I'm looking forward to the Sabine/Mando Show coming up.
>>82401068
Nope, that was Hosnian Prime and 4 other planets within it's sector that were destroyed.
>>82401081
Eh, it's ok, but last season was so up and down in quality as well as the shoehorning OT/PT/TCW characters it made me lose interest with it. I came for the Rebellion/Empire battle, I could care less about Ahsoka, Rex and Maul, save that shit for a novel series so we can go more in-depth with them properly.
>>82399822

Lucas is very learned and I think he's very intelligent, but he just sucks with communicating his ideas to other people.I've always suspected that he's high-functioning autistic.
>>82401241
I think that's a lot of people's issue with Rebels. Everyone had their own expectations of what it was gonna be, which made it difficult for us to accept what it was.

>>82401215
>Hosnian Prime

It was an urban world in the Core Region so we can assume that it was one of those mini-Coruscants that hold tenths of billions of people. Also it was the temporary capital of the New Republic so the senate plus the chancellor are all dead.
>>82401245
Coming from someone medically diagnosed with it, it is. How it work is, they believe how they perceive something is an absolute truth, and when someone or something with a truth that doesn't match their own comes up their mind is unable to rationally comprehend it. They either rage irrationally, or shutdown mentally.
They deal in absolutes. Like Sith.
>>82401322
Prior to TFA, no, it was made just for it.
Other than the capital of the New Republic being gone (before they could change it, they do rotations on Chancellors and Planets so that an Empire repeat wont happen again), billions of people dead, and 5 planets gone, nah, nothing of importance really.
Outside of the fact that the First Order can attack the Core Worlds from the Unknown Regions, so across the Galaxy...well they could.
>>82401331
I dunno, I've read some bios and looked at his filmography, and some of the patterns I spotted indicate some common traits of high functioning autism. One thing I noticed was a pattern in his movies where he uses numbers instead of words. It crops up a ton in THX-1138, but in ANH as well. Think of how much of the techno-jargen Luke and Han spout is just random numbers and letters (bullseye womp rats in my T-16, she'll make .5 past light speed, ever since the XP-38 came out) or how all of the stormtroopers are identified by number rather than name.
To me, it seems to indicate a preference for logic in the form of math rather than emotion.
>>82401367
>>82401544
I meant by lore in the franchise
like Coruscant or a Korriban
well I guess they will be printing money with novels about it
>>82401668
Nothing that Coruscant doesn't already have honestly or Corellia. It was literally made because they didn't want to take the chance of blowing up Coruscant, so they just made some Coruscant-lite planet up to destroy.
>>82401668
>I meant by lore in the franchise
Nope. It was never heard of until TFA. Unlike Coruscant or Morriband, it had absolutely no relevance other than being the capital of the Republic at the time.
Best new OTP.
Quick question, could Imperials be seen as a minion race? I seriously can't see them in any leadership role, except for a very few officers like Tarkin.

>What do you mean?
They seem to only be able to follow Emperor Palpatine's command, even in death, and when their great leader was killed they couldn't defeat the rebellion with all the resources they had at their disposal. Now that the FO is here, they are now being led, again no less, by a powerful darkside user and see him as their leader.
>>82402000
> token blue guy
>>82401983
>>82402019
What is this and why should we care?
>>82402040
Some of the side stuff actually goes into that. A lot of the Grand Moffs and such fled to unknown space with their fleet, money reserves, etc. so they could begin rebuilding, and there is an entire plot point with Mas Amedda trying to stabilize the Empire's downfall and what remnants of the Republic still lasted within it, since it is technically the natural progression.
It's actually happened in real life where a rebellion overthrows a Government and despite that Government's power and military, they flee or go into hiding just because their leader is dead.
>>82402040
>They seem to only be able to follow Emperor Palpatine's command, even in death, and when their great leader was killed they couldn't defeat the rebellion with all the resources they had at their disposal.
Except they didn't follow his will, mostly. After Endor, the Empire fractured because a shitload of bigwigs and officers wanted power for themselves. They became warlords fighting eachother and the newly re-established Republic.
> Now that the FO is here, they are now being led, again no less, by a powerful darkside user and see him as their leader.
You seem to forget that everyone in the Empire save for a handful in the Emperor's inner circle were not even aware that he was even force sensitive, nevermind someone who used the dark side.
>>82402000
If I was in the Jedi order I'd probably be the conspiracy guy. I'd get so much evidence or whatever and eventually figure out that the sith lord is at the top of the senate. Instead of Palpatine, I'd think it was this guy.

>>82402235
>they flee or go into hiding just because their leader is dead.
>After Endor, the Empire fractured because a shitload of bigwigs and officers wanted power for themselves
That's the problem with the Empire under Sheev though, they didn't want to work together to maintain the Empire as a whole, because Emperor Palpatine trained them as such. He wanted himself to stay in power and when he bit the dust he wanted shit to burn with his death(Him wanting to destroy Naboo cemented that).
And after a few years Snoke and the Knights of Ren came into the picture and they bowed to him too and became subservient to him as well.
So are Imperials a "Minion Race", a race that has to be led by a singular figure or they'll fall apart like paper in a rainstorm. Or can they govern themselves with a plethora of officers that sort of want to the same goal and can work together so that if one of them dies they aren't stabbing each other in the back?
>>82402720
>Or can they govern themselves with a plethora of officers that sort of want to the same goal and can work together so that if one of them dies they aren't stabbing each other in the back?
If they didn't have the Republic to worry about, It's possible it could've happened. Even though we didn't see them I don't doubt that the Empire had guys that were Tarkin's caliber. One of them, with time, could've possibly reined them all in. So no, I don't think they're a 'minion race'. Especially since they're not even a race. Imperials had a few different species in their ranks. Granted though, most we've seen were part of the Inquisition.

Scenario Time.
You are a Jedi Knight getting ready to take his first Padawan, however the Padawan you originally wanted has been taken by another Jedi Knight, leaving you only with a small Rodian boy who acts like a spoiled brat. Do you stick with what has been left and given to you, or do you try to convince the other Jedi Knight of your actual choice before a bond develops between the two?
Force Powers and Dueling are off-limits, you must settle it with nothing more than words and convince the other Knight that you are more fit to train that Padawan than yourself. The Padawan can be whatever you want it to be, teen girl twi'lek or togruta, a rancor, whatever.
How do you go about this?
>>82405589
I'll take the boy, it would be unwise to defy the will of the force.
He will learn in time.
>>82405589
I would request the switch but I would be fine with the Rodian. He is there to learn patience, so he will get it eventually
>>82405589

I finished TCW on Friday. To be perfectly honest, I can see where the hate comes from. I remember leaving the theatre after seeing the movie and absolutely despising Ahsoka and never gave the whole Clone Wars thing a chance until TFA got me interested in SW again.
I don't think any character has ever grown on me as much as Ahsoka has.If you're as invested in her as I was, the Season 5 finale will fuck you up

and why did they send general grievous when dooku clearly had nothing better to do and greivous was meant to be directing the entire war effort?
Think I'm going to pass on Jedi Outcast and Jedi Academy for now. I don't like the feel of combat, even after you get Jedi powers and a lightsaber.
After I'm done binging through the SNES games I might try Battlefront 2 or Republic Commando.
>>82409628
>and why did they send general grievous when dooku clearly had nothing better to do and greivous was meant to be directing the entire war effort?
1. CIS doesn't really have any battlefield commander characters other than Grievous (which they should've made).
2. Dooku was busy getting his ass wrekd by literally Nightsister-Voodoo. He was in no position to lead an assault.

Well the only prequel I enjoy is episode III and I think TCW kinda redeemed the PT, but I don't think they have to remove a simple reference like those flags.
>>82410878
The Clone Wars kinda proved my thoughts on why the prequals sucked. The 'war' lasted all of twenty minutes in the PT. TCW had a lot of character development, a few boring and dumb moments here or there but still more interesting over all.

>>82414758
>My friend, you would be surprised at the lengths people will go to feel like they're part of a group, especially when it becomes mainstream.
That's your mistake, here.
The "group" that knows who Plagueis is, is an undesirable group be a part of.
The EU is not mainstream. Star Wars is, but the EU is not the same.
No one is going to be impressed that they know who Sheev's master is.
They're just going to look like a loser.
Even if one out a dozen people somehow bother to learn who Darth Playdoh is, that's not enough to be profitable. People like to be part of a group, like you've said, but they also resent when being excluded.
So there's no chance that Snoke could have been Wagyu because the amount of people who would feel rewarded for knowing who he is is fewer than the amount who would feel confused by it.

Son of Dathomir is very good. It's action-centric, and follows pretty much every big Star Wars villain, minus Vader. It focuses on Mandalore becoming a brief third faction in the Clone Wars, making it a very interesting story.
And who is your husbando? If it's Greivous, you're in for a treat. It's literally his best showing in all of Canon. Maybe even his entire history in the franchise. If it's Maul, then...

>I find it interesting that there is probably a large amount of people who were introduced to Star Wars via the videogames, and not the movies.
True for me. Whenever I went to my friend's house across the street, we'd sometimes play Rogue Squadron for the N64, and he had action figures for the main cast. I had no idea about Luke and Leia's real relationship for a while, so I'd play with them as if they were boyfriend and girlfriend.

An old magazine series.
No clue where I got them, but I had quite a few.
It spoiled me on who the mystery bounty hunter was at the beginning of ROTJ.
>>82421627
I was 3 and watched Empire Strikes Back with my cousin in 93, only thing I remember from it was Vader throwing shit at Luke and knocking him out the window on Cloud City. Remember asking him what was going on so he showed me a bunch of his Star Wars toys from the 80s he had bought as a kid, since he's 10 years older than me, and we played with them, started getting into it after that.

My father raised me on it since I was a wee baby.
When my mom was working a waitress job at night to pay for school it would just be my dad, brother and me, so we'd watch the movies all the time.
Thinking back, I must have at least watched them about 60-70 times before I was 10.
>>82421975
That sounds awesome!

>>82421627
Mum's boyfriend at the time let me stay up to watch ANH when it was on tv. Vividly remember being mesmerized by the Trench Run.
Watched Phantom Menace, thought Maul was the coolest shit.
Didn't see AotC until he brought it home on VHS.Got bored and stopped watching right before the Arena scene.
I did eventually rewatch and enjoy it, and he brought home toys of Dooku and Anakin's Lightabers.
Since then I was hooked, got Battlefront for a birthday, entered a competition to win some EU books, started buying the comics, ect.
Oh and my first ever non-nintendo video game, I think, was Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, and I probably poured 1000's of hours just fighting bots. Thought it was cool as shit.
So it's hard to say how I really got into Star Wars. A lot happened around the same time that collectively hooked me.

I was a huge Metroid lore fan who gave up on the franchise once I realized I was never getting a quality game again.
I barely knew anything about Star Wars but I heard there was a new one in production, and they recently rebooted the continuity, so I figured it was as good of a time as any to jump in. Watched all the movies chronologically and now I finally have a franchise that I love as much as I loved Metroid, except this franchise is actually putting out new and quality content
>>82421627

What were your thoughts on that? You mean Episode 1 to Episode VI in that order, right?
>>82421627
Saw episode 5 on the TV through a shitty signal. It was all grainy and it had a lot of static, sound was fucked up too.
>>82421627
I got into Star Wars due to promotional material for Revenge of the Sith and the first lego Star Wars game. I remember my friends were playing as Jedi and then I said I was the guy who jumps really high(Jar Jar Binks in Lego Star Wars). Due to my friends interest in it I decided to get into it and watched all 6 films from TPM to RotJ and I rented the first film on VHS from the rent store. I remember the chills I first got from seeing Darth Maul on the screen. I loved all 6 movies. Funnily enough, I never watched the special editions until a few years ago. In order to watch the OT I got the Gold edition VHS's. The first Star Wars film I went to see in cinema was TCW movie which I enjoyed at the time(I still do but not as much.) but I was at the midnight screening of TFA to see my first live action star wars on screen. Before, the EU wipe, the only thing Star Wars I really cared about was TCW, being the first ever show I had actually watched from when it started to when it ended. Finally Battlefron 2 also helped get me into it a lot and it may be one of my most played games to date
>>82421881
>I remember watching ANH with my parents when I was really young, but I couldn't get through the movie because I was so scared of R2 and 3PO
>But now I love droids
I don't remember when I first watched ANH, I know I watched it out of order, saw ESB then, eventually saw RotJ not long after that because I was curious how it ended, don't think I saw ANH until a year or so later, very odd.
I do remember my favorite toy as a character was Bossk, I thought he was a cool lizardman since my cousin had a 6 foot Iguana which was cool, used to have one myself, died a few years ago sadly at 15 years old. Anyways, used to hate people who liked Boba Fett refused to ever play with his toy, liked the armor and all but only if I got to buy my own toys and paint it.
To this day I still don't get the hype around Boba Fett and not Bossk. I mean I get Boba does way more than Bossk ever does even in the OT, but still, Bossk is so much cooler. Boba's got shitty green/yellow/brown piss ass armor coloring, and is loved by some of the most autistic parts of the fanbases to ridiculous levels.
MORE LOVE FOR BOSSK!
>>82422375
Yes, from 1 to 6 at the time. Over the course of a month or so.
I think it gave me an appreciation for the prequels I otherwise wouldn't have had. I see where the hate could come from, but the movies are not any worse than a mediocre summer blockbuster. I would never call them BAD by any means.
Episode III specifically I got an entirely different experience out of than I would have if I knew what happened. Order 66 blew me away, along with the realization that Sheev is the emperor and the "FIRST GALACTIC EMPIRE" line.

So, apparently it's canon that Cliegg died of a broken heart as well?
>>82422720
Fucking softies in a galaxy far far away
>>82422720
Broken heart is a really vague term. Typically it means someone just gives up the will to live, they stop eating, drinking, etc. and just waste away. In Padme's case, it was more like she just stopped caring during child birth and just let the complications take her because she wasn't focused on the birth itself but more on just giving up.
It's silly in Padme's case, but Cliegg can easily make sense.
>>82422720
No. Shortly after the events of AotC, another group of sand people raided the homestead, and literally broke his heart in two with a gaffi stick.

Oddly enough, even before star wars, I caught bits and pieces of the Ewok movies on the Disney Channel when I was a kid.
>>82415275
Always fun, but no way in hell I'm wasting it on their fucking Rancor pack.
Speaking of Rancors, we have enough in the guild for the lowest level raid. I'd recommend waiting for the level 40 raid since we should be at 34,000 tomorrow or even tonight.
>>82423172
>>82421627
Didn't like it as a kid. When episode III was coming out, I watched all of the original trilogy with my dad a week or two before the release, and then watched episodes I and II on dvd before going to see III, and then when we got home rewatched the original trilogy.
>>82421627
My brother showed me episode 4 when I was a wee lad.
>>82423299
I'm cool with that. Can't wait to try a raid out.
Rancors would be Fighting/Ground, right?
>>82423888
Well if they weren't before they are now with those 8s.
>>82423299
Ok. I will initiate raid at 34,000. Was in hospital for 5 days, so couldnt accept ally offers until now.
>>82421627
In '95 or '96, I saw a commercial on some channel that they were going to be showing the OT movies over the course of a few days. I watched ANH and ESB and loved them. I was trying to get my friend into Star Wars too, and we were going to watch RotJ when I was spending the night at his house. His dad saw what was on the tv, told us it was "too scary" and made us go to bed.

I think Psychic/Grass works for Ysalamiri. Not sure about Vornskr
>>82424430
Kanan The Last Padawan, just haven't bothered reading it yet, finally figured I'd get around to it.
>>82424489
>>82424547

Dark/Poison or Dark/Grass? Agree on Psychic/Grass for Ysalamiri. What about Dianogas?

Water/Poison?
>>82424430
the Kanan comic
>>82424553
>>82424631
Wow, she looks a whole lot older
>>82424578
What about just water type? Pokemon don't have to be dual typed. For that same reason I might make Vornskr just Dark type.
>>82424699
For Vornskr I'd definitely say pure Dark, but Dianogas usually live in shit/garbage water and so should have Poison as a secondary type.
How about Sarlaacs? I'd say pure Ground
>>82424758
If not pure ground, then ground/bug. The SE version just screams Trapinch.
Mynocks?
>>82424662
Ezra looks like he's 10 years old
>>82424662
I like how Hera's lekku are like... lower. She was worried.
>>82424758
>>82424699
I agree pure Dark for Vornskr, unless you wanted to make them distinct from Tuk'ata who would also be at least half Dark. And Pure Ground Sarlaac sounds right.
>>82424812
Flying/Electric?
>>82424758
I'd go with ground, but I could see ground/bug for the big ass beak.
>>82424812
Mynocks are flying, maybe flying/electric since they suck the juice from the cables.
>>82424758
If it was to have a secondary type, Ground/Grass? or Ground/Bug? It reminds me of Trapinch actually.
Ewoks = Normal?
Wampa = Normal/Ice
Wookie = Normal/Psychic
Greivous = Steel/Dragon?
Tusken Raiders = Dark
I'm noticing Star Wars creatures and characters are too complex for single typing...
>>82424843
Since Vornskr hunt with the Force, you could go Psychic/Dark or Psychic/Normal.
>>82424662
Looks good.
I never did understand why Depa said Kanan was too young to be a Padawan, Anakin was even younger. Kanan was 11-14 during The Clone Wars, and the war had been going on for at least some time, so he was likely 13 or so, Anakin was fucking 10 when he became Obi-Wan's Padawan and with no prior training.
>>82424944
>Wookie = Normal/Psychic
>Greivous = Steel/Dragon?
>Tusken Raiders = Dark
I think we should stick with explicitly nonsapient animals, otherwise we're catching Twi'leks in pokeballs and that's not an avenue I want to go down.
>>82421502
>>82424944
>wookie
Fighting or Normal/Fighting
>>82424944
Wampas could go pure Ice, but maybe Ice/Fighting. Tauntans would be Normal/Ice
>>82424944
Ewoks: Grass
Wampa: Ice/Fighting
Wookie: Fighting/Normal
Grievous: Steel
Tusken Raiders: Dark/Ground
Rancor: Ground/Fighting
Sarlacc: Ground/Dragon
Dewback: Ground/Rock
You could make a lot of them fit actually.
Bug/Steel

She may have meant he was too young to be a soldier, whereas at the time of Anakin's training, jedi were serving as peacemakers.
>>82425248
I miss the Consortium.
Post lightsabers.
>>82425847
More than likely, just weird wording. Ahsoka was 14 when she was a Padawan too and Kanan was 13 or 14 as well.
Might have just changed over those few years. Maybe they saw the problems with Anakin and a few other Padawans in those 10 years and decided to up it knowing the kids were even more rash at 10 than they were at 14.
>>82425989
