It's smart that Gideon advertises the Hopps farm on his truck; It helps for marketing both their products, but Gideon needs it more than they do. I wonder if he realizes that. The Hopps label makes it easier to market to other rabbits or at least to the fox hating public. Without the Hopps partnership, he sadly wouldn't be as successful. I wonder if he figured that out or if it just worked out that way.

So i just saw Pinocchio and there was about 10 minutes where 8 year old kids drinking and smoking cigars.

I confused Kim Davis with something else, I was thinking of stories like this: http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/business/2013/02/bakery-denies-same-sex-couple-wedding-cake/

But what I meant was that stories like that inspired scenes in the film, as Zootopia isn't 1:1 about the struggles of racism but on prejudiced in general.

It wouldn't be unbelievable for a gay director to choose real life event as a basis for that scene and just replaced "refused service because gay" with "refused service because fox" because it fit within the context of the movie more.

I was just saying it wouldn't be suprising if Howard took this to the next level by actually having Nick be gay (or bi if they want to do a relationship with Judy) and have it not just be for the sake for it being current year.

The movie cost 10 millions less than Big Hero 6 and has gained 50% more so far.
It cost the same as Frozen and so far had almost the same success.

And the setting is actually perfect for further stories. The police/detective stories could continue forever and the city of Zootopia is a lovely magical kingdom.

As a contrast it is going to be followed by Meowana which probably isn't going to do as well in the Asian market. Girrafic should do well too.
