I've read many an indie comic that's nothing but crappy vidjya references.

One had a cover of the MC, which was basically the artist, in a Castlevania style, and in the end the whole comic was just him shitting on how crappy his retail job is and throwing in Final Fantasy references about battling the "Final Boss" which is an asshole customer or his actual boss.

This whole show really does look like the creators had no idea what to do.
