The show feels like, at it's core, it's really about Hater very slowly being worn down and eventually becoming a better person.

I do like how slowly the writers are taking it, it feels very believable. Hater never genuinely showed any softer sides in episodes like The Buddies, but it still contributed to overall wearing him down.

The Dominator stuff seems like it might be the biggest catalyst, or at least something that would really bring him to examine himself and what he's doing.

Another season of this would be great, especially with the idea someone suggesting of Peepers becoming the big bad.

Wander really is a pure guy, he's sweet and he's the only character I've seen who got the spongebob feeling right and went beyond it. His nice and helpful nature really doesn't come around often in cartoons/shows anymore, its a shame it got cancelled.

I watch the show purely for dominator

Just watching the theme song a few hours ago and as weird as it sounds, the part where Wander hugs Hater, it made me realize something.

Society has really changed, I remember when I used to want to hug anyone who I felt needed it, female or male. That was like 10-15 years ago, I remember doing it and really making their day and I felt really good about it.

I can only imagine doing that now how society would see it, You're either not masculine or you're fucking gay, if you hug another guy. Not the shoulders-to-shoulders thing, but a straight non-sexual hug, most guys wouldn't take it anyway unless their gay, they'd also think you're weird.

It's such a shame society changed, because we're just people, hugging is just at it's basic form a way of being nice and showing you care.

Now it's one of those things that shouldn't be, but do, just work in cartoons, depending how you write it of course.
