Clint assisted with scott going inside IM also getting IM off of Sam. Assisted in distracting IM for wanda to toss cars on him. Prolonged Panther long enough for Cap and bucky to get away. Sure he caught up but imagine if he caught up sooner.

Clint did great support in this, because he was protecting their magic user who is their strongest hitter but also weakest link.

I would say Ant Man carried the team in this fight. He fucked up Tony and messed him up good, also beat up a few others. Then he soloed Spidey (who was trouncing everyone else), Iron Man and War Machine before he eventually got taken out. Based ANTS.

After Ant Man accidentally gets Steve to throw a gasoline truck at them, Tony was talking about how their initial plan was to go easy on Steve and his group. So you can assume that Vision was only called in after they decided to get a bit more serious.

I loved the whole sequence but I gotta admit it was more fanservice than anything, not only the fights but also the interactions which turned serious only at the end when there was an actual casualty.

It was also very entartaining due to the variations of powers and skills. I'll be honest: I thought it was meh. The choreography was good, and Spider-Man definitely felt like Spider-Man, but the only word that came to mind for this was "toothless." It just doesn't feel like there's much at stake. Nothing really felt grandiose or lasting. It was like they had to make sure everyone could still be pals once the movie is over, so the dialogue and impact was neutered.

This is why I dreaded the idea of a Civil War movie and not a movie about Cap fighting his foes like the Serpent Society or Zemo. It doesn't feel like a Captain America movie, it feels like a really big commercial for more movies. The Russos are doing the best they can, but the idea is stillborn.

Oh and another thing I noticed is that Spider-man doesnt get impulse or bounce from the webs like in previous movies. he shots the web, then he flies like he has magnets to the goal. Im not sure if Im explaining well. He used to grab the webs strongly, tense them and then when he releases it he is sent flying upwards by the force of the tension. But here he just shots the webs and then starts levitating magically into the target.
