The designs in this show are outstanding and incredibly unique, and most of the voice acting is pretty solid.

However, Tuck hasn't aged well. He can be annoying, is usually the source of conflict in any episode he's in, and rarely ever gets his comeuppance.

Apparently you can also shave a bit of filesize (and possibly encoding time) by having the intro as a seperate file in the folder, and then link it to each episode with chapters, but I have no idea how that works or if I'm just spewing uninformed bullshit.

Chapter usage is very common, if not the norm, on /a/ stuff. Sadly, none of the rippers/encoders that does western stuff bothers with it.

I mean, it's there and it's a neat feature so why not use it.
A show may have a really nice intro/outro but listening to the same thing for 50+ episodes can get annoying and then it's nice to have a fast forward button that only skips that particular segment.

I think Tuck is actually pretty great at times. I think for cartoons like this, not much justification is necessary besides "Tuck is mischievious".

I loved Tuck in the wrestling episode, in the episode where he becomes Sheldon's partner, and the one where he has to film the movie. Also in the boy who cried wolf.

Aesthetically, I loved all of it. The settings were cool, backgrounds were great, lots and lots of facial variety, it really represents a Twilight period of a certain brand of cartoon animation.

In terms of least favourite parts, the humor could be really hamfisted and unfunny at times. Jenny herself can be construed as 'boring' which I think is a fair assessment, but she is supposed to be first and foremost reacting to the actions of other characters. She's not meant to be the comedic relief.

There is Sari that combines robot girls and little brown girls but the fact that she is a robot rarely comes up. Also Jenny personality is much more endearing even if her design makes no sense from a robotics point of view. And this comes from someone who dislike the fact that Jenny's powers makes no sense from a mechanical point of view (Like how her twintails shapeshift to be propulsors/receptors/blades) and is into loli so by numbers alone I should dismiss Jenny and be into Sari.

I never watched Sari's cartoon but I don't really enjoy "replicants" robots. They look too human and after a while I just forget they are robots altogether.

I prefer characters like Jenny who are entirely mechanical and do crazy shit with their power. I also enjoy the geek side of it (detailing how their hardware/software works, blueprints etc)

Strangely despite my disdain for the way Jenny parts transforms to perform different roles I don't mind much the just glow and change of Rockman. I feel it makes more sense in that it is supposed to be some hyper advanced tech that looks like magic than Jenny's transformations.

Sure! I hadn't seen you before, but I have now!
First, I get the shows, which you probably already have.
Then I extract all the frames from the episodes, you can do this with many different kinds of software, even VLC if you like.
After that I move the frames onto my external HDD so it won't clog my PC;
I put it through Waifu-2X caffe with Level 3 denoise, Level 2 upscale, cuDNN mode, export to png.
And then I get all the frames into After Effects, extract the original audio with Movie Maker, add the audio alongside the images in AE, and encode with Adobe Media Encoder.

After I do all this, I interpolate the episodes, so they get 60FPS. I don't delete the original, though, I add them both as a separate MKV stream.
To interpolate, I use meGUI with MKVtools and FFMPEG.
It does a generally good job at it.


After all that, the episode is uploaded and you all get it!
