What if they revived the Proto-Zootopia concept, but for an alternative timeline sequel where Judy didn't return to Zootopia for the movie's third act and Bellwether's plan succeeded?

>>82108455
Actually, I wanted to use it as OP, but hopefully this thread won't get nuked and I wanted to ask anons their opinions about the following.
Some noticed that a few scenes in the movie are very allegoric.
>First, during initial verbal confrontation Nick stays in the shadows while berating her, while Carrots hops in front of him into the daylight before stepping into wet cement
>Secondly, Carrot's first arrival to Zootopia was via shiny, glossy train representing her high hopes and rose-coloured glasses outlook, whereas for the second time she uses old family truck - showing her as returning more experienced, maybe a bit grizzled and beaten up than before
>Thirdly - reconciliation scene under the bridge. Nick steps into the tunnel and goes through the shadow, eventually emerging on a sunny spot, representing doubt, grudge and eventual forgiveness, while Carrots, still sobbing, remains under the bridge as if in representation of her lingering regrets until Nick makes clear all is forgiven.
I find these fine details extremely fascinating. Has anyone else noticed similar things?
>>82108676
The only thing I noticed about the under the bridge scene was that the bright background looked like a videogame because of how much fucking bloom there was.

and yet we know she's there because of affirmative action, that she avoids being fired over insubordination because of affirmative action, so how can you say she really earned it? it's even made clear that the affirmative action is what has polarized the chief against her in the first place
she's not incompetent but she's not being helped by affirmative action and instead gets thrown in over her head when she could do better otherwise. that's the point. it hurts her, it hurts the force, it hurts everyone around her

resolution is perfectly possible, the movie itself provides the resolution which is the beauty of it

it's never clear what the affirmative action exactly consists of, but it is clear that it gives her some opportunities that no one else is allowed
>>82109296
Maybe a big reason why thid movie is do popular is that it tackles prejudice in a way where everyone thinks they're right. Liberals see Smellwether as Trump and conservatives see her as Sarkeesian.

>1 billion dollars in the next two days
But not enough to defeat the little yellow demons
I just saw this movie yesterday, and it was a lot of fun, but it's definitely a kid's movie. Story was way too driven by coincidences, and the whole climax was entirely done for the sake of the audience and not the characters, which is a sign of a pretty poorly written set piece. 7/10

Oh yeah, she insisted on Judy finding the wild animals so that she could frame the mayor and cause him to be jailed. It's pretty clever. it handles prejudice in a way that every perspective is respected, no one is demonized, and no one is entirely right, and it is the reconciliation of those differences with the acceptance of the truth of those differences that leads to the ending and success

Open world LA Noire-style game where you can visit all the districts and Bunnyburrow. You can hotswap between Nick and Judy to do puzzles. To prevent character clutter, we just give them gadgets, but make other characters unlockable to find other unlockables, etc. It could also introduce the sewer system or the sky district I've heard about. The 'merchant' would start off with someone like Weaselton and then upgrade to Mr. Big. LOOADS of unlockable costumes for the crew, and LOOOADS of innuendo-laced dialogue as the story progresses.
In the gameplay, Judy is the character with something similar to the Bat-vision from the Rocksteady games, and Nick largely does the interrogations. The story could probably be about a dirty cop doing things around Zootopia, with side quests being rounding up frightened rodents in Little Rodentia, platforming puzzles in Tundratown and the Rainforest District. In the city, you could have racing and time trials with Flash. The dirty cop is causing havoc by locking down each district, and you have to unlock some kind of barrier, ala GTA, to get to the next. Something like the sand blowers in Sahara District kicked up to 11, the ice maker in Tundratown being on the fritz and causing a meltdown, etc.
Car combat's feasible, but would probably be a distraction and would only really work on a single level or two.

Man... /mlp/ is the living cringe board!.
I mean what is the point of having a cringe thread in /mlp/?
>inb4 /zoo/ board
Please no.
>>82114472
At the very least you could post it to /wsg/ somewhere and then link the webm directly here
>>82114472
Post it on a board that lets you post a webm with sound. Or idk find an online tool
>>82114292
>/pol/ is the boogeyman
I am actually happy with this meme, since it keeps out underaged /b/abbies and oversensitive redditors like yourself
>>82114419
>while MLP is trash for little girls that autistic manchildren latched onto.
Not himjust playing devil's advocate t.b.hbut it's pretty much like most other cartoons that get popular these days. Decent writing, Lauren Faust, alright animation. Sure it's nothing special and doesn't warrant the fanbase it's gained, but the show itself isn't inherently terrible.
>>82114419
>Zootopia is actually good
Hamfisted oscar bait about race and prejudice are considered good now? C'mon now I like the movie but it's not any better than MLP seasons 1-3 are.
>>82114162
Those are containment generals to stop the degeneracy from spreading. Vore for example has a lot of contempt outside of its containment general.

Here, I got you senpai.
>>>/wsg/1048866

No, it's not the same and it will never be. Zootopia is a Disney movie targeted to a wide range of audiences. Of course it got attention. While it got a lot praise and earned a lot, it actually feels much more mellow compared to something like Frozen or MLP. You don't hear Zootopia's song get blasted 24/7, no happy meal toys like in your MLP, etc. It actually just feels like Tangled. Popular and appreciated, continued to be liked/talked about by a couple of people, but that's about it.
/co/ didn't even get overtaken by Zootopia threads. Only two to three threads, but that's about it. When Civil War Spidey trailer got released, the entirety of /co/ was just about it. MLP was like that back then, but crazier and lasted for quite a while.

I've only been saying /mlp/ is a fun board, I didn't say /mlp/ wasn't autistic.
>>82114708
Yes it is. I know for a fact Chumpy did it for a while.
>>82114495
Nah, not gonna happen at all. Discussion is waning, and most just contained in /co/ threads. Other boards don't really have constant Zootopia threads, and the most the movie got was Nick's "wanna hear a joke" threads in other boards.
