The issue is that so much of comics discussion is predicated around Rich Johnston, a slimy motherfucker who uses kernels of truth (there's a long term overarcing storyline for Rebirth) and spins it as something awful (EVERY DC BOOK IS TYING INTO THE SAME 2 YEAR STORYLINE) and that suddenly becomes the narrative in comics discussion.

I didn't like late 80s, everyone seemed like they were asked to ape Miller. I love late bronze era/pre Millerization, early Bronze era as well as the stuff that post road to No Man's Kand. I also like Morrison/Dini but that shit is just as much of casual favourite as Snyder. And aside from Joker stuff, Snyder has been solid with few hiccups like weak ending to COO, sort of boring first half to Zero Year.
