Does anyone on /co/ actually read this? It's OK, but overall way too tumblrish.

I mean, as OP I do.
I've been reading it since several years ago. I thought it started out great honestly. It got more tumblr-y over time in my opinion, and was at its peak in the earlier chapters.
I miss when Cameron was treated as the reader's eye into the webcomic's world and the art was somehow better despite being simpler.

I feel really bad for this artist.

I mean, Disney just plopped a shimmering diamond encrusted shit right on their head.

From now until the end of time people will think this was some derivative of Zootopia, like those awful straight to RedBox knock off movies.

How many years was this out before Zootopia even came along anyway....

Zoophobia started in 2012. Zootopia was announced in 2013. So not that huge a difference.

Its kind of annoying when people mix the two up but its not that big of a deal, and anyone familiar with the comic will know its something different.

From a creative AND business standpoint though, it kind of kills real growth for Zoophobia.

Bigger companies would not touch it due to the similarity and new potential audience members might ignore it without realizing it was no rip off.

I like actually talking about things rather than just waifuposting though. Besides, the artist has made a lot more interesting characters. That one is a lesser character that just happened to get popular because of an animation.

The problem I have with it is mostly just that it's kind of uneventful. It's just kinda... a bunch of character and story ideas that aren't really stitched together in any meaningful way.
