Here's a thought. I'm pretty sure the soul infused Lil' Cal is still out there in the void. Gamzee just put a copy of it in Dave's head which started all that BS. LE definitely isn't stupid though. Going after Hussie was pretty clever. He also showed he still has Caliborn's unique way with words when talking to Damara in his only speaking scene. Too bad he spent the rest of the comic after that just destroying space and failing to find Calliope. Hussie dropped the ball on developing him once he started rushing to the end.
