No, lots of people were very disappointed. In fact I would say that was the general reaction. /co/ just hyperbolizes everything to extremes. There were lots of good things about the ending especially if you look at it for itself and not in light of all the bullshit of Act 6 and if I were the kind of tool who voted on youtube videos, I, too, would rate it positively despite being very disappointed with the ending as a whole and in context.

I suddenly like the ending because my headcanon is that English won and wrecked entire ghost army + Vriska. Bitchass kids escaped to the new Universe and didn't live in peace for long before English came after them. Knowing that their shit is fucked, they went after caliborn and masterpiece happened.
Then beta kids jumped out of the juju and got killed as well, while those who remained in the new Universe got pulverized by English, the end.

Hiveswap has a huge chance of bombing. Why play a point-and-click adventure game in this day and age? You get the entire story just watching videos of them, and you aren't missing much in the gameplay department either. It's really hard to see this game selling well at all. I figure that by virtue of them all being time players, or having their one space player being killed through some causal loop, I could play with time in an interesting way due to it being a doomed timeline from the get-go, that way I don't have to abide by temporal causality and can deal with offshoots like primer did.

What if Act 6 had the same format as Acts 1-4, and the alpha trolls were still alive trolling the kids. Or even better, the KIDS were trolling the TROLLS. Intermissions would be catching up with the beta kids.

And then Act 7 was the wrap-up with both groups meeting each other.
