Which one looks better, /co/?
>>81822921
Both are mary sue pretensious shit
Geniuses looks better, but just because I'm a sucker for Renaissance
Left. Let's Shaman King this shit.
>>81822990
If it came down to a life or death choice, I'd say I'd rather read geniuses.
>>81822921
Left obviously
>>81822921
Genius. Threadworlds has really nice art though
>>81822921
Threadworlds will at least have good art.
Genuises has no redeeming qualities whatsoever.
>>81822921
Threadworlds looks better. Geniuses sounds pretentious. How long will it take Micheal to figure out that people aren't born geniuses?
>>81822921
Threadworlds' premise bothers me less. It's an onnoxiously over-the-top and overdone message, but at least it's a well-meaning message and not "Everyone hates me because I'm so talented".
>>81822921
They sound the same.
>>81822921
He's doing "The lowly masses are trying to drag down the gifted elite" a THIRD time?
>>81822921
>both are relatively good ideas weighed down by terrible details
>"dumbly bound by patriarchal superheroes"
Fuck them both.
>>81822921
Has there actually been any news on either of these or is OP just trying to start shit
>>81823789
To be fair:
I'm the guy who made that image (but I didn't start this thread). I intentionally picked the most obnoxious-sounding articles on each to copy/paste.
>>81823813
If you mean recent news? Then no, these projects aren't scheduled to come out for a year or two.
But OP's image isn't really starting shit, those are official descriptions and pieces of art associated with Mike and Bryan's projects.
Personally, if I had to, I'd go with Threadworlds because at least Bryan's a decent artist, though I'll actually be avoiding them both because they're both written by bad writers.
>>81822921
Threadworlds sound way more interesting and could be a cool adventure series. Geniuses sounds like a ripoff of His Dark Materials and the name is dumb.
>>81823925
Well, are those things true?
If so, then my point still stands. I like the general idea of "art is magic," but hate the idea of a fucking mascot character representing creativity and acting like it's the worst thing in the world to get writer's block. And I also hate feminism for the sake of feminism in order to gain easy points from fellow liberals.
>>81823773
I guess it's true that most people only ever write one story their entire lives.
Neither
>>81822921
>Imma special-snowflake oppressed by stupid conformist society!
>THE PATRIARCHY!
Both are terrible sounding.
Why couldn't they have just both dropped dead at the completion of Aang's series?
>>81823674
>people aren't born geniuses
>what is asperger syndrome
>>81822921
Something's missing from these two concepts, where are the Daddy Issues?
>>81825597
A lite form of autism that antisocial nerds either have, fake, or self-diagnose to appear interesting
>>81822921
I'd go with artmancy rather than fedoramancy.
Left
good god you fucks are so fucking stupid let it go you fucks are so fucking stupid
>>81823925
> I intentionally picked the most obnoxious-sounding articles on each to copy/paste.
It was super effective
>>81822921
>STURG LADY PEOPLE FIGHTAN MEANIE MANS
>SPESHUL POWURS ARE INBORN, SILLY MRAS
I guess they both figured out all they have to do to avoid criticism is use women as shields.
>>81822921
Awful egotisitc premise for the first, awful 'forced progressive' premise for the second...but at least the second will have decent art and I could probably draw some good smut of the main character, so I guess Threadworlds wins out.
>>81822921
If im forced to pick one, I will go with threadworlds
>>81827372
Don't worry, anon. In season 2 they will put a woman in the council and then women everywhere will forget that they were oppressed.
Uh they both sound like Chosen One stories but I probably wouldn't read ether of them and wouldn't choose; ultimately I'd read both but start with Threadworlds because the illustration (if thats from the comic/book) looks more vibrant then the born shaded and pencil sketch of the left.
>>81824353
never heard that saying before
>>81825901
The first one is both.
>>81822921
In the thumbnail I thought it was a comparison of Lex Luthor and Stephen Hawking.
>>81825797
obviously the king/leader in genius will be the main characters father
theres no way it wont be, theres no pretense in the story in the slightest
i mean holy shit he doesnt even make any effort to obscure it, the plot is literally, verbatim "the bad guy wants to take my i mean their genius"
its so pathetic i cant stop laughing
>>81822921
Geniuses reminds me that I'd like to see a Rise of Legends cartoon
Vinci a best
>>81822921
How can you be a Feminist/SJW and an Ayn Randian? Don't those two conflict with each other?
>>81822921
Threadworlds, because at least the art would be good
>>81830580
Sorry to ask but is that game good, I really enjoy Rise of Nations but Im getting bored and I have seen that game around for a while.
Are these pitches for cartoons? What channel?
>>81833545
One's a book and the other is a comic.
>>81822921
Threadworlds. Seems like a neat idea and the art style looks pretty cool
Geniuses looks like a shitty cross between Atlas Shrugged and His Dark Materials. At least Threadworlds will result in decent lewds.
Avatar was a shitty knock off anime and anyone expecting anything good to come from the people who made something so shitty is a retard.
