Lyn would look shocked but not Wally if it was still alive. That's a dead baby face.

I feel like it must be A) alive and B) appealing enough for Holly to have gotten sufficiently attached to it that losing it is still messing with her six years later.

Unless it's a fragment of "I" and she's... imprinted on it due to its powers, or something.

>>81784299
It's most likely an abomination and Holly is only going on her maternal instincts, despite it being a freak of nature. Also she may or may not be schisming at the moment.
>>
>>81784485
Could have something to do with the alcohol, though I would have thought it would have passed out of her and the fetus' joint blood system by now.

D'you think she simply blanks out when she tries to remember what it looked like in the modern era, and remembering that it was actually a ghastly abomination will set her on the road to recovery?

So thanks to the last thread, I started reading this. I'm at the point where Al and Gustine are being interrogated because everyone thinks they tried to sell out Endtown to the topsiders.

What in the holy fuck have I gotten myself into, this shit got dark so fucking fast with that whole Sparkplug thing back in the city. Am I right in assuming I having seen shit yet?
>>
>>81784299
Or maybe the mutilated lump of human that was all that was left of Clive bore a striking resemblance to her own baby, hence her sudden fixation on him.
>>
>>81784611
Oh, wait, it could work if she's drunk-but-asleep and the baby is drunk-but-awake, couldn't it? In which case she'd end up with something like Cooper.

Or the alcohol could be a red herring, it passed out of her system, and the baby could potentially be awake in her womb while she's sleeping and mutated into a true eldritch horror.
>>
>>81784611
That's a loaded question we currently cannot answer. We know her baby is in the tub, but we don't know what it looks like. For all we know it's an aquatic mutant. Worst case it's a fucked up mutant with a face only a Holly could love. We'll just have to wait for Friday's update.

In the Netherlands we have a tradition called "Beschuit met muisjes" which is toast with a type of spread which when literally translated in English means 'mice'. "Toast with mice" so to speak. Pink for a girl, blue for a boy.

So, what gender is our baby? Let me guess...giiiiiiiirl?
>>

Could there be a double meaning with "you're a father..." And having both Lyn and Wally in the shot? Or am I just looking too deeply in Aaron's bloody bathtub?
>>
Im not sure I understand the mutations going on here, why do only individuals seem to be getting the virus somehow?
Are they being targeted?
>>
>>81786915
Ooh, that would be pretty bad wouldn't it?

Present-Holly's pregnant with Wally's kid, turns out she's not barren. But him and Kirbee had a really passionate moment earlier, and both don't know what to do or think
>>
>>81787227
>yfw Robo butlers are being controlled remotely and are infecting selected individuals with the virus via gas to test out the virus' effects on humans. Only to dispose of the evidence if things get out of hand.
>>
>>81787227
There's definitely a lot more to the virus than just what we've seen so far.

Could be Holly & Lyn have been carrying it since their first mutant encounter, only the incubation period hasn't been as instantaneous as we've observed later. Lower concentrations, different immune systems, etc. Plus all the paranormal aspects of it, of course.

>>
>>81783788

>>
>>81786915
The fact that she miscarried or once if she drowned this baby twice is probably one of the reasons behind Holly losing it, but since it's only Lyn in the bottom two panels and she seems to be looking directly at him while speaking, I suppose it's a relatively accurate recollection of past events.
>>
>>81786915
>Or am I just looking too deeply in Aaron's bloody bathtub?

how come the character in the op is a human at first but suddenly turns into an animal?
>>
>>81788510
we're currently going through a sort-of-flashback
>>
>>81788544
Her voice of reason was "strange voice claiming to be my friend is asking me, a pregnant woman, to show up at her house alone instead of emergency services."

and the fact that the only reason Holly was living there in the first place was because she had run into a toothy horror the size of a car. She did not know what to expect, but when something like that is real, sky is the limit.

It would cost me thousands in my country, but if I nearly ran into a velociraptor on my way home one night, I'd buy a gun and every bullet in the shop.
>>
>>81788510
She mutated.
>>
>>81788510
>>81788619
Long story short
>flashback where key events are being shown to Wally, Kirbee, and chic (cat, lizard, bird boy) by microscopic beings called "dittos" who have the power to manipulate their surroundings (and in this case, time and space)
So you just witnessed a jump from when she was human to when she mutated.
>>
>>81788897
To add on, it would just be easier to read through. It'll only take a few hours. But once you hit a certain point in the first arc, o guarantee you won't want to stop.

I was referring to Lyn being the voice of reason, not Ethel. He'd clearly tried to get her not to carry explosives around as a self-defense weapon, but she ignored him.

And he'd had an even closer encounter with the monster, but was still sensible enough to realize the buddibombs were a terrible idea. Buy a gun, sure, not a box of grenades.

Question about the setting: Is the "virus" meant to be a world-wide phenomenon? From what I understand the plot hasn't really ventured past the Endtown/Hillside area, and what I've read seems to imply these Apex dudes based specifically in Hillside are responsible for it.
Then again I'm running under the assumption that this is our Earth, since they refer to World War 3.

She wouldn't be the first. Not everyone wants to accept the horrible reality they're stuck in, though she does seem to have an extra helping of optimism/gullibility.

How people cope with their new horrible lives (and horrible pasts, which are almost a given for anyone who survives) is a bit of a running theme. It just means Kirbee has further to fall when something finally does break her.

>>81796826
Unlike petey, clive was probably just some random plastic brain that holly imprinted upon.
>>
>>81793082

>Disconnected from reality

I honestly don't think this is the case, the reason why kirbee seems to be so detached from the colony's demise, is because she genuinely believes she is better off with wally and co, specially how they saved her life at the end by dragging her body out of the fire, she obviously wasn't really appreciated in the colony, so unlike chic, she has no one to mourn for. She's traveling with the only guy who has probably given her any affection in a long fucking time, and seems to be perfectly fine with it.

Regardless of the wafufaggotry, >>81793158 has a point, in those panels she is obviously mortified about what is happening to holly right now, so saying that nothing bother's her is a completely false claim.

>Like her entire colony being slaughtered in front of her

Chic went through the exact same traumas as kirbee, he also completely lost his parents and brothers, not to mention he almost got killed by jim. yet he still hasn't mourned for his parents or shown any emotion for his lost home... i don't see people calling him detached or mongoloid for this, i don't claim this is the case though.

Keep in mind that only around 4 days have passed since unity's demise, and a lot of fucking shit has happened in this short period of time. none have had time to grieve...
>>
>>81798045
>innocent or not, she is an Endtown character. See OP pic for what happens to Endtown characters.

and like an endtown character she has been hit by tragedy, and will get hit again.

we dont know much about her past, but from what i can gather from a couple email exchanges i had with Aaron, i strongly believe that kirbee was an orphan with a troubled childhood, he hasn't confirmed or denied this, i'm completely speculating at this point. we will see if i was right once we get to her backstory.
>>
>>81798280
isn't he like, 5?

He hasn't had the chance to develop feelings for his family, much less his colony. He was hidden from his brothers and sister by a brick wall and watched them play while he lived in the dark. The only lizard implied to give a damn about him was his mother, the rest beat and abused him.

At that age, kids will detach from emotions and you get stunted emotional growth after that level of abuse. Not to say he isn't feeling them, he just buries them.

speaking from experience here, worked with troubled kids.

she had reason to run in and save people... but not to grieve for them.

Like they get back to Endtown and it's in utter chaos, and they find Marx huddled in a corner somewhere rocking back and forth muttering "It wasn't supposed to be like this... Even in his only poem definitively set in Middle Earth, all he basically uses his powers for is to have a party in Hobbiton and then score a free ride home.

Speaking of projecting, is the tendency for everyone to call everyone else "kid" in this comic an intentional depiction of the local dialect, or is it a verbal tic that Aaron has that ended up in the comic's dialogue?

>>
>>81816735
There's still killing Ethel's husband in the collateral damage for her to feel guilty about. Whether she believed the snake was Ethel or a dangerous mutant, she's likely aware by now that she's still killed someone.

The police in >>81783792 don't mention the husband being missing, and anyone who saw Holly leave before the explosion would have seen him entering.

It's possible Aaron will leave it ambiguous, since Holly and Lyn have slightly bigger things to worry about now.

>>81820724
Nah I'd rather work on what I owe instead. If I have to make money I need to focus on that.

>>81820806
Here's how it was explained to me - if a customer puts the number of the bill in the transfer they will put the money to pay for that bill in particular without even asking. I punched in a number for the recent bill instead of the old one and I didn't realise it, thinking it was all solved. Apparently I would have to call the company early today to turn that around because they will explicitly file a payment on a bill without batting an eye (And sometimes bills can get lost in post so some people find out in July they have an outstanding bill for March. Happened to me one or two times). So they shut the power down because I didn't pay for February, while playing for April. And the amount of debt doesn't count. If you don't pay for month X for I think two months, snippty snap goes the power cord (Well now they just pull out the plug from a locked box).

Same shit with cable companies. The only people that didn't file me for reconnection bill was a cell company after I negotiated it with the guy from the help line. Wonders of capitalism. Then again utility companies here will never try to disconnect drunkard families living on welfare because "muh troubled family". Wonders of socialism.

The way I see it is that Endtown is a metaphor for socialism. The way that the war erupts and the mutants arrive is pretty much a socialist allegory. I'm so glad there's one webcomic that doesn't cater to lbieralism like Gunnerkirgg Court

I think I might be figuring out the virus/"I". It's a hive-ish demonic entity in the form of a swarm of little invisible psychic elements that converge like blowflies on anyone feeling vast amounts of stress and then feed on the psychic emanations of the disturbed mind. As they do they multiply, and once they reach a critical mass they transform their chosen victim to induce more stress to feed off. Stressed housewife, traumatised housewife, perennially obsessive and insane Topsiders, including two who were fearful of the change yet also worn out on wearing the suits and fearful that one of them was going to die... they all radiate stress.

People who are naturally laid-back and haven't been subjected to anything terrible enough to break their high threshold while in proximity to a swarm become Typhoid Maries, but they still have the potential to mutate when exposed to something that successfully induces major stress and causes the now-omnipresent swarm to "see" them and do its thing.

They can't pass through solid objects, so that's why the Topsider suits protect against them, and they worked more slowly before the war because they were fewer in number (effectively, "I" was weaker).

Why do people mutate differently, though? Perhaps the transformation is by invitation only (rules of demons and vampires and all that), and sufferers are subconsciously made aware of a chance to "escape" from the stress. The waking mind chooses to escape into insanity, which manifests physically in the transformation. The sleeping mind chooses to take refuge another form also, but lacking any conscious decision making process, simply "changes channels" to something else on the evolutionary tree that best matches the qualities of the ego. The intoxicated mind has its wires crossed, and the result is a pick-n-mix ball of weirdness. Any way it works out, it proves no refuge from the pain and suffering of the world, indeed, it worsens it, and "I" now uses the mutant as a breeding ground.
>>
>>81827286

Think you can draw Linda some day?
>>
>>81827145
Jacob Jackrabbit is the socialist leader (like Hitler a national socialist) in that he's seeking a "new equality" much like people invested in video games journalism like patricia hernandez and others. I pay attention to these things and I have a degree to back it up
>>
>>81827507
Cont.

Alternate theory on the Typhoid Maries, since I just recalled that Sparkplug seems pretty stressed all the fucking time: When subconsciously tempted by "I"'s offer of "escape", they refuse without ever knowing it due to some element of their character ("I don't deserve to", "I have someone here to live for", etc). If they ever lost their hope or stubborness or whatever keeps them as they are, they'd immediately transform when stressed.
>>
>>81827507

Was thinking about that too, wondered why Sparkplug didn't mutate when the bombs fell.

Could just say he was real lucky with his genes at the time, didn't mutate when the bombs directly hit. But like you said about the laid-back no stress deal, he had accepted his death at the time. After killing his wife, he looked like he lost it all, walked down the streets while monster mutant and animal mutant ran about without a care and didn't freak when the bombs hit.

But that brings up another point, why didn't he mutate when in close proximity with his monster-wife? He was extremely stressed and only lost his mind after shooting her. Then again, maybe it takes time. Holly also had high stress when she met Ethel, didn't mutate right then and there, only after falling asleep.
>>
>>81827937
Well, yeah, I came up with an alternate theory to explain Mr Stress, but you make a good point. As for mutating when he saw his wife, that would be before the global coverage of the "I" presence, so he might have avoided them while his wife was there to feed on.

I figure during the last moments, when WWIII happened and humanity collectively went "Oh SHIT!", there was a sufficient burst of stress to cause "I" to exponentially multiply and become all-pervasive.

>Jacob Jackrabbit is the socialist leader (like Hitler a national socialist)
There's a word for that sort of political persuasion.

It's literally called fascism.
>>
>>81828027
That could also explain why Topsiders mutate instantly, once their suits tear and they experience high stress, "I" doesn't have a whole lot of places to be. Who else is suddenly mutating at the moment other than these few people?

Also that, first time we see a Topsider mutate with Al when he tore the neck flap, he didn't mutate instantly. Took a few seconds to notice the tear, then started freaking out. Same deal with the Topsiders that Flask bore holes in with the laser-knife, they took a moment to react to the pain then stress out that their suit was torn.

And remember, Aaron said that Typhoid Maries aren't immune, they are just for a while. Al could mutate at any given moment, possibly when he's completely stressed out.
>>
>>81828186

Demagogue
>>
>>81828187
So what happens if someone has achieved inner peace through meditation?

FOTNS?
>>
>>81828187
Could be. I recall that Jim and Sarah weren't awake to notice their suits had been broken, but the last thing they did experience was constant stress from being chased, worrying about Sarah's cancer, trepidation over the change, and the shock of Wally shooting them, so their nerves would have been just as frayed as slumbering Holly.
>>
>>81828187
Does that means that mutants can mutated again?
>>
>>81828335
"I' perceives them as a threat and influences someone to go full ___God and kill them.
>>
>>81828475
Well, they can schism, so in a sense, yes I suppose. Just not physically.

>>81828449
Right, they were worried about it working and curing them. We're probably going to have to wait some more before we figure out how and why you mutate while sleeping, but I think we got the awake mutation down a bit.

>>81828335
I think they'd stay human / Typhoid Maries. No stress to kill the mind, so they don't mutate. But once they do lose their cool and achieve maximum stress, they'll most likely mutate.
>>
>>81828475
I don't think so, I feel like even a subconscious would be "Fool me once..." were the offer made again.

Another thought: "I" is the source of the mutant rapid healing ability, related to the way it can morph flesh to begin with. No good letting your food source die, even if being injured does make them briefly very piquant...
>>
>>81828654
>We're probably going to have to wait some more before we figure out how and why you mutate while sleeping,

That's what I mean, though, I think it's latent stress too. Nightmares and such. So it happens whether you're awake or asleep, the only difference is the "CHOOSE THE FORM OF YOUR REFUGE, MORTAL!" bit.
>>
>>81828798
Sorry, don't know how I skimmed over that. Still, all of these are just loose assumptions, but at least they make relative sense.

But what I'm wondering is the animal mutation and what dictates what you become. Probably is the "spirit animal" business, like what animal you most identify with or something. Or maybe I chooses based on their past, who knows.
>>
>>81828956
A social wriggler became a snake, a fight-or-flight-oriented person became a mouse, a loner became a cat, a laid-back girl became a lizard, an angry drunk became an alligator, a lazy guy became a bear, a constantly-disgruntled doctor became an I-don't-know-what-but-boy-does-it-ever-look-like-it-doesn't-even-know-what-the-word-"gruntled"-means.

It's all cartoon stereotypes, so maybe it asks you what sort of cartoon character you most identify with.

Demons have done weirder things in fiction.
>>
>>81829233
And that makes me think: You know something cartoons tend not to do? Age. We've seen one guy die from being old, and he was old when he mutated but it's implied he just gave up (or was finally satisfied). I'm curious now as to whether the Doc has noticed if anthros are aging or not... although kids like Chic do seem to be growing.
>>
>>81829233

The word you're looking for is Badger.
>>
>>81829430
Oh, it's been figured out what he is, hey? Yeah, that'd fit, badgers are stereotyped as being gruff and bad-tempered.

Huh, it strikes me that this "stress" theory would disallow honey badger anthros, though.

'cos honey badger don't give a shit.

I think if Aaron has a blindspot as a writer it's in not realising that in any creative work, the audience will perceive characters differently to the author.

Take the current topics of conversation, for instance.

To Aaron, Jum was a useful plot point and a window into the mind of the Topsiders. His death was useful exposition.

To the audience, he was a sympathetic character and another Linda, a Topsider-in-recovery. His death hurt maybe more than Aaron intended.

To Aaron, Marx is a dear friend and useful plot tool who's been with him since college, someone with fun powers who it always amuses Aaron to write for and who Aaron believes adds interest to the strip.

To a lot of the readers? He's a badly-dressed dickwad of a Gary Stu that the strip would most likely work just fine without (indeed, he clashes with the wallpaper, so to speak), who the Author appears to be in love with and who has story-derailing powers and an apparent god complex that the Author appears to consider acceptable.
>>
>>81838693
*Jim was a useful plot point

Another instance: Ethel was a bit character and plot cog, to Aaron, but we probably would have liked to know a bit more about the snek, especially if there were elements to her character that went into becoming the snek.

I'm sure they could rework it for beaks. Heck, there's probably code in there for styluses(stylii?) since a lot of tablets seem to have an option for them and the OSes are pretty consistent between a lot of tablets and phones.

There's some hope sometimes.

The whole "when Wally met Holly" bit was sweet and hopeful for the reader.
Which is why it's all the more bitter that Holly is so fucked up now.

Al and Gustines relationship wasn't that strained in comparison.
>>
>>81852502
It could definitely set the scene for two years of near-suicidal guilt and four years reinventing herself as "That helpful little mouse who is TOTALLY A GOOD AND FRIENDLY PERSON".
>>
>>81852568

that facade fell off pretty quickly...
>>
>>81852592
Aw, I dunno, I think she *wants* to be a good person when she's in a more stable frame of mind. I respect the right of anyone to reinvent themselves.

It just remains to be seen if she can dig herself out of this hole of madness, guilt and repressed feelings and become the person she really wants to be. Which may not actually be the person we met her as, I must remark - if she manages it, the ideal may not be the same thing as the pretense, in the end.

Be prepared for Holly to change. Again.
>>
>>81852629
To clarify: Aaron says this arc will "challenge" Holly fans.

So Holly fans: Be prepared for Holly to become a better person, or at least to get her soul cleansed, but also to never again be the cute mouse waifu you fell in love with at the start.
>>
>>81852667

From what we've seen, they choose a random mutation in the womb.

There's no visible damage on the fish, but I'm guessing it died from the fact that its mother was mutating around it as it did the same.

I'm willing to bet the child got a slight head start on Holly, chose something slightly too large for a mousegirl to bear, and then was crushed when she proceeded to shrink, at which point the pressure may have induced a quick but messy birth. Internal damage, most likely.

Man, now I feel bad for all that shit I said a few threads ago about Holly being inconsistently/poorly written... Though I DO feel alot better that way back when she was imprisoned that I was wrong in thinking she had a miscarriage during her imprisonment in Endtown and not now...

Because what gets me though is that even with the gray areas of "did her drinking play a part in her child's mutation" or other factors like "if the child was able to breath air/water/both", that she's not entirely culpable of the miscarriage. Seems like under the dire circumstances this was really all she could do... It's the same bleak, and often times unfair reality everyone's been subjected to.

we anons tend to see things in the short run. Stuff that has happened recently is more prominent in our minds.

Aaron sees not only what has just happened, but what happened before that and what will happen all with equal clarity.

Until shortly after JimGod got his fingers gnawed off Holly was considered Best Waifu in these threads. People feeling sympathetic for her now but when she was going insane before this flashback the threads were full of people ragging on her

>>81854152
Gustine was headed towards Schism, she had not hit it. When you go Schism you go berserk. She was worried that she was going to become out of control, which is terrifying when you can bend steel bars.

Schism hits in two ways. In newer mutants it tends to happen with a mental shock (Jim). In Jim's case, his raccoon body had already caused issues between him and Sarah. Her cheating on him and breaking up with him would of made that dislike of his body more intense.

The other way it happens is a slower descent (Gustine). She was worried that Al didn't love her as much because she was a Rhino. The things they went through during the Quest reaffirmed that he really did love her with all his heart and she was steered off the course for Schism.

idk about Wally. He just seems like a depressed loner. I don't see any reason to think he was a schism-risk

What happened to Jum wasnt the usual effect of schism syndrome. Not all mutants are at risk of getting possessed by an eldritch entity.

Wally and Gustine both experienced schism syndrome. All it is is when a mutant doesnt feel at home in their own body due to all the new urges they are feeling and dont know what to do with.

What happened with Jim is a very special case as far as we've seen so far

"I" was able to possess Jim BECAUSE Jim went Schism.

Jim's path to Schism was normal - what happened afterwards was not.

>Wally and Gustine both experienced schism syndrome
They were on the path to Schism. If they'd actually reached that point they would have been psychopathic.

Has that explicitly been said anywhere? Thats a serious question. Like in one of the Q&As? Im pretty sure it wasnt in the story itself unless it was.

I'm not baiting, i'm just really doubting Aaron gave you information you're not meant to make public.
He's never done it before. Just look at this thread with people posting their replies because it's all information he's happy to make public.

This comic has been in a non-stop state of HAPPENING since what, 2012? I'm amazed at how Aaron keeps it going at this rate.

As in "kill the mutants and the world is free of the virus"? Not really, if the final stage of WWIII *did* make "I" omnipresent. The Topsiders just want something to vent their rage on. I doubt they even know how to cleanse the air of "I" particles, or they would have done it to the interiors of their domes already.

If you ever read some philosophy texts, there's this weird concept of "dreaming"/"wishing" something into existence. Now imagine if there's a collective paranoia, hatred and fear straining noosphere with that poison and culminating in total genocide causing basically a 'birth' of a malevolent entity. Dunno if that's viable. Aaron seems to be really into Carl Jung stuff and I believe most of the answers are there.

I'm more into classical, middle ages and renaissance/baroque philosophy

Fucking Quasi-Space jumpers.
>>
>>81854906
As the Buddha said, "With Our Thoughts, We Create The World."
>>
>>81854884
Well, then, it's a... sustaining kind of thought.

Though if, in that universe, Holly and Jr. are still mutated, then it implies it too was afflicted with "I". But at least they're all together.

This may be the first positive thing that wasn't a Deus-Ex-Machina rescue that I'll accept as coming from Marx.

Also, moving that we all call the poor lil' fishy "Junior" from now on.
>>
>>81854502
It'd be a start at least. Stop it from continuing to replicate once a way to cleanse the air is found.
Cleansing the air by itself is useless long-term if mutants are being used as an incubation substrate.
>>
>>81854906
I've always interpreted that in the realist fashion given in Fallout NV: Things have to be dreams before they can be made. Though mind you, that was vouchsafed by a freaking psychic.

Also, them creating "I" might kind of clash with it calling them it's "wayward children".

Maybe he'll up the ante by giving someone his plot-alteration-device thingy. And then they get to travel through a realm where all you hear is odd sounds and everything's a weird colour.

Maybe some of them will realise that that's just treating the symptoms, and they need to do something about the beast behind the "virus" to solve the problem (which would incidentally render all the mutants "clean").

>>81855016

Well okay maybe I used the wrong word here... not creating but shaping. There was something already there and it was shaped into something maleficent. Also falling back into Jung and by proxy Freud (Since Jung and Freud were buddies, but Jung was more into spirituality ). Take a soul and divide it into a humanistic side (ego) and the animalistic side (id). What happens when you schism? Id takes over. Ego on the other hand is virtually destroyed. Now if ego is destroyed there's a possibility of something taking place of that ego - the maleficent collective entity called "I". Ego means I in Latin.

Again this requires some research.

>>81855075

And has a bitching soundtrack.

Possibly.

You know, I'm really starting to view the whole mutation thing as an issue of innocence. Aarons words and the rules we've seen seem to paint it as "If you have an adult mind present it taints your transformation". Or maybe it's just the insanity of the adults exposed to that kind of world that forces it down that path, and the only mercy is that they're free of the insanity when they slumber. I seem to remember one of those Patreon updates posted had a little rant from Aaron on the subject of the madness of modern society.

Hey, have we done Endtown music yet? Say, for a theoretical Endtown animation?

I kind of like Pink Floyd's Goodbye Blue Sky for either the intro or outro, but what else? And what about character themes?

>>81855631

Kazen and I have agreed that Blue Oyster Cult's Fire of Unknown Origin would be a great album for Endtown OST. (Sole Survivor and Veteran of Psychic Wars being great character themes )

Other than that - Hawkwind's Assault and Battery, The War I've Survived and Brainstorm; Ayreon's "The Stranger from Within", there's a lot of good stuff from whem but it's too entangled in it's own story to be much of use. Although a lot of Human Equation could be re-used for flashbacks; ELP's Knife Edge, parts of Tarkus, Karn Evil no. 9, Enemy God Dances with the Spirits; Alan Parson Project's May Be A Price to Pay; Ammonia Avenue; Silence and I; Psychobabble; Somebody's Out There; a good chunk of Freudiana album; Genesis' Entangled and Ripples also come to mind.

I'd need to dig a bit through Urriah Heep's stuff for some more. But in general - progressive rock and psychedelic rock is a good pick for Endtown OST.
