Time for a stupid blog post no one cares about.

I've been reading Homestuck for 7 years. 7 fucking years, most of those spending no less than half hour every day on the damn comic. I was in fucking Highschool when this comic started. I've loved it more than any other piece of fiction, I've hated it enough to drop it, I've laughed myself into tears more than I have from anything else, I've reread it, I've rewatched animations a half dozen times, fantasized about it, talked about it, wrote about it, posted about it, listened to it, I even read some fucking fanfiction for fuck's sake, and generally given more of a shit about Homestuck than any other fictional work I've ever encountered.

It wasn't just something I read, it was a part of my life, and to give it less credence than that would be disingenuous. Even if it hasn't been a common piece of my daily routine since the updates stopped, the fact that it's going to be over forever now is honestly a sad thought. Homestuck is done, and so is a part of my life.

I have the same exactly feelings anon. Homestuck ending is almost like a book closing on my life. Homestuck is a coming of age story and I've grown up right along side it from sophomore year in highschool 14-21.
Almost feels like when this comic is over its a final stamp on "no longer a child or a teenager but an actual adult now"

I most likely wont ever get into anything as much as I have Homestuck but I'll be forced to move on with my life and find other interests. HS ending as well as Undertale putting me into a fucking existential crisis on whether or not I'll even amount to anything in my short time on this earth because of how good that game was got me to sign up and start college.
