Unsounded is great and Ashley is superb about keeping her schedule. She sometimes even dumps multiple pages when she feels the tension needs it and, as far as I know, hasn't missed an update (correct me if I'm wrong, anons).
She even plans brief brakes so she doesn't burn out between chapters.

I have been avoiding Berserk for the same reason you are afraid of starting Unsounded (except in my case I've been burned by ASOIAF): it looks like something I'd love but I am not ready to live in another hiatus hell.
