R&S has better drawings, better animation, better voice acting, and I think it's funnier.

This is debatable. In some ways I can see this being dated given the art style and that distinct 50's style it had. I still enjoy this show to a extent regardless of it's surrealness and shock humor.

I'd consider myself an avid fan of John.K's work but Rocko is just a million times funnier

Rocko has a larger cast and more character interaction. Ren is a grouch and Stimpy's a manchild, that only stretches so far.

There are still some Gems in Ren & Stimpy, but there also some Episodes that are just plain bad. I've been watching some lately and going from Robin Hoek to Fake Dad was just ridiculous. Robin Hoek was hilarious but Fake Dad had me wondering what the joke was even supposed to be.

I agree. I have been watching some episodes recently to see how well it holds up, and while there were some pretty terrible episodes, there were some good ones like Robin Hoek and Space Madness were surprisingly fun to watch.

Season 5 is almost completely devoid of good episodes.

Ren's Brain, Who's Stupid Now, Reverend Jack, and The Last Temptation are okay.
Stimpy's Pet and Farm Hands? Awful.

I've always hated Ren & Stimpy. Always.
