Spider-Man is one of the most expensive conceivable superheroes for representation on screen. All the swinging and webs and wall crawling shit is next to impossible to do on a TV show budget, and yes, it's more expensive to do than super speed or flying. The show would look like garbage and you would resent it if it actually happened.

Maybe in 10 years it'll be possible. I never thought The Flash would look as good as it does, and it certainly wouldn't have looked this good 10 years ago.
