"The world's greatest Super Spy" sure does fail a lot.

He doesnt really.
He's still alive and has connections, doesn't he? I'd say that's a sure mark for one of the best spies ever.
nah bra
>>81541238
I mean compared to the shit he has been in he is pretty successful
He should be dead like 100 times over
>>81541407
Wasn't this lampshaded in the last season's finale?
>>81541238
Well, considering real life spies have fairly low success rates, simply being involved in more than five successful missions and not dying is a big deal. Especially Cold War spies, fuckers got caught left and right to the point only the World War 2 British spies had a worse life expectancy.
>>81541238
He's a barely functioning alcoholic who's only putting half efforts into his job. Considering that he's not yet dead and I'd say his success rate is actually 100%
>>81541238
You should see the second greatest.
Oh wait, you can't. He's already dead.
>>81541238
Not really, most of his missions pan out, just not according to plan.

He doesnt fail near as much as OP just did.
Keeping himself alive and successfully completing missions are two different things
In season one and two, it was a running joke that even though Archer had a hit and miss record competency wise from what we were shown on screen, off-screen he was EXTREMELY competent, to the point that just MENTIONING HIS NAME made terrorists and bad guys shit their pants and scared shit-less that Archer was going to fuck their shit up.

There's a decent chance that he isn't really, it's just his ego. Also he's very skilled, his personality is what fucks him up.
*self-proclaimed
>>81541238
He's not the world's greatest super spy, he's the world's most dangerous.
>>81541238
He's the most DANGEROUS spy in the world.
He's basically the Zim of global espionage.
>>81541238
best =/= perfect
Perfect (or should I say best?) example is Perfect Cell.

Serious answer: This >>81541759 The bar for success in espionage is incredibly low.
Real answer: Failing is funnier.
