I dunno. It felt like it was all over the place as to what tone it was trying to set, like it didn't know what kind of story it wanted to be.
There's all this "lols random humor" ala Rick and Morty but it wasn't very funny. And it wasn't that twisted either, though I don't know if that's what it was going for.
Then it tried to also shoehorn in this serious subplot about getting a second chance to put things right and it felt wildly out of place with the humor that they kept attempting.

It felt completely underwhelming and forgetable.

Well shit, that was actually not terrible. It's a pretty good pilot. Some of the dialogue misses the mark on the comedy or maybe it's the voice actor rubbing me the wrong way. But damn, as intriguing plots go, this delivers.

The animation is actually not too terrible, I always like it when 2D art is composed in a 3D environment. I wish more animation tried this method.

Now, don't read the comments. Seeing Reddit literally go "wow best thing I ever seen on YouTUB!! XD" will only cloud your opinion.

The voice acting of everyone that wasn't the cat was pretty bad.

Writing was okay, but would've benefitted from better VAs.

Music was surprisingly excellent.

The alien voices were especially bad, though. Like, they were trying to pull off the "huge brutish guard with squeaky voice" thing, but failed.

Yeah I think all the voices were good except for those.
I think this could be a lot better if they removed the stupid talk like "fart sandwich". It comes off as forced and trying to appeal to the 15 year old tumblr demo which I guess they're successful in doing.

It wasn't awful but it was pretty forgettable.

Feels way too derivative, like they've just finished watching rick & Morty and Space Dandy and decided "yeah, thats cool, lets do that".

Who knows, might be cool if it gets off the ground in the future.

The whole thing was chock full of random humor.
Every flashback was literally a gag or setup for a gag.

I'm having mixed opinions on this. It wasn't bad but the comedy didn't deliver as much for me. The voice of the guy never changed much and felt monotone at points. Using words like "fart sandwich" makes me wonder if it was intended for the underage demographic and couldn't use actual swearwords. If you are making a violent cartoon you are already setting it up there and might as well go the whole mile. Not saying swears should be used all the time but it sort of contradicts itself at the moment.

Will keep an eye on this at least.

I actually loved the part where they were stuck, and the balloons thing was decent, so it looks like the comedy jives better for me than everything else.

Finding "Final Space" also sounds cool. His monologue about it at the beginning sucked.

It seems like they wish they were on CN to me. There were no swear words because they wanted kids to watch it.

Boring but once it goes beyond that weird intro it would probably pick up. I mainly wish it had a look that actually fit the mood of it, because right now there's no way I can take it seriously looking like that.
