The show was fine, it got really annoying sometimes but it did it's own thing and it did it well, never got why a lot of people here hate it so much

Started it today, it's not bad at all. The show messes with the world and the animation like Gumball.

It might have something to do with the show's base concept of "some strange old guy 'helping' kids with their problems of the week" that's probably turning most of the first-time viewers away.

Just look at the protagonists of the more-successful contemporary cartoons; I'm not even sure if any child could relate to UG, or could could relate a "weird uncle" or "weird grandpa" of their own to UG for that matter.
