>there will never be a Bionicle cartoon in the style of the online adventure games
I've wanted that shit since I was seven
>>81440696
I can appreciate that Bionicle actually had an explanation for why Mata Nui comprised of 6 seperate biomes.
I'm obligated to post my collection in any bionicle thread I see.

I've gotten a bunch of the new sets, but I'm too lazy to update my pictures.
>>81441853
there was an explanation? i thought it was just "lol protodermis"
>>81441900
>all those 09 sets
>no rahi
>>81442389
Having none of the rahi or Bahrag still hurts me to this day.
And you have no idea how much I wish I had Takanuva.

>08 nuva feet
i've never been subjected to a worse moc in my entire life. saged

>tfw you remember being a poor child standing in front of the store displays, all those nice sets you can't afford
I mean, I've managed to get a bunch of them later on, but I'm still missing tons and I have no money for them again.
>>81441853
The reboot did attempt that too.
>Makuta's face explodes, cracking the previously unified island into six distinct elemental regions
>later they make references to the regions existing prior to that event
>animations show the regions being there before the explosion
Keyword being "attempt", since they clearly don't give much of a shit about the story and continuity. The poor sap they hired for the books has to sort it all out by himself.

They actually did come up with an explanation for some of Zootopia. The wall between the desert and snow areas is a gigantic cooling system that keeps one side cold and releasing heat exhaust on the other side to keep the desert toasty.
Rainforest uses some kinda sprinkler system.

The island was part of Mata Nui the Robot God´s camo system for when he would land on and study worlds. But when he crash landed the system got fucked, and so when it activated it produced an island wich made little natural sense in its distribution and amount of biomes.

There almost was a collaborative fan-made one, but it didn't go anywhere.

Those are the Toa as I remember first playing with them as Bionicle toys, but the first movie I watched (and so, to me, the one with the "original" Toa) was The Mask of Light.
Toa Lewa best Toa. I love the way he talks.

You mean the treespeak (even though he talked like normal in the comics) or the odd Irish accent they used for his crappy movie portrayal?
