The thing I'm getting at is something which captures verbally what plain white text conveys dictively. Spacey, pure for all the mischievous darkness of its words, requires just a bit more effort that usual to percieve. Doc Scratch has an ambient voice. Brian Eno could engineer it.

DMK was played as a farce; Homestuck's finale is going for a level of pathos he never aimed for in Problem Sleuth.

Notice how Homestuck has never had any serious fights that weren't resolved in a handful of pages or so. The fights with predetermined outcomes were quick to end, and any fights where the outcome could go either way were ended with tricks or some other intervention that nullified the fight entirely.

8^8 Vriska vs. Jack, for instance, was one of the few relatively even fights, and it ended up nullified by mind trickery.

Nevermind the other fight with Dave in it, considering he can just freeze both Jacks and coup de grace them.

It's weird how this comic has undergone such a radical change over its lifespan. Like, it always wears the same coat of (deteriorating) paint, but you can feel the soul and rhythm of the whole thing start to stutter and just bleed out at some point.

Caliborn is technically still in charge of the story, so victory is impossible.
Vriska's plan is already falling apart with Jade waking up, so her mysterious source is either unreliable or even malicious.

Kids device their plan of putting Hussie back in charge of the story-telling. It goes only half-well, as the pre-scratch kids get trapped.

Aradia and Sollux will initiate their final plan. Sollux will become the most important character on homestuck, akin to Gamzee, due to their unique classpect (ignoring the Beforus-trolls, because fuck these parodies and Meenah enabler)

Truns out Sollux is actually two people. A siamese twin, where two brains (or a mutant brain) share one body. That's why he has two dream-selves, though it seems, that one part of him died permanently. Also as the doom aspect, he is the original mirthful messiahs. Both of them.

Why would the kids figure they have to go to Caliborn's past and try to kill him if LE is already dead? That plan isn't even on their radar yet.

Something will go wrong and LE will probably arrive in the session to kill everyone, prompting John to make that retcon leap with his friends.

Eugh. It's such an alien feeling knowing it's going to be total and done in just 11 days. It feels like it ended years ago and is just this sort of hazy fever dream. I'm still hoping we get the twist that Caliborn created SBURB.
It would solve the mystery of sburb as a whole and the game is full of so many conventions that Caliborn loves like world-building, over-complicated bullshit puzzles and forced shipping.
Plus it helps cement English as a unique force of nature within the universe.

See, I worked out a system of symbols for cross aspect and classes some time ago. Did the very opposite of this however, kept it simple and uniform. Have the shitty drawings I did ages ago for them, which I may redo for clarity.

Essentially each aspect symbol has a round part and a long part. For each of these symbols just sub in the respective parts of the aspect symbol to make the complete classpect.

That artist is really talented, but I can't say the symbols aren't over complicated. I love the colour palletes, that's the artist's strong point.

It's somewhat ironic, I think. Feferi Peixes was born into a unique role as the heir of the Troll Empress, with a dangerous and heroic future that she was predestined to deal with. Even at her young age, she made plans, she gathered allies, she prepred herself for the hardships she was born to face, to complete her quest, dethrone the Empress, and lead Alternia into an age of peace and prosperity.

Then Sgrub comes along and renders her whole life irrelevant, because it has another, much more important quest for her to accomplish, and all her previous importance was basically null.

It would have been nice to see how she dealt with that. At least she got to make dreambubbles. That was useful.

After witnessing the massacre, he will lose all hope and give in to oblivion. This will enable him to merge with all his alternative selves (god-tiers included) and become the "greater Karkat" with all the experinces.
Not sure if it will be him, but someone needs to do it. Rose did, but she cheated. When she realised, she was in a doomed timeline, she created a hope-spot, namely falling asleep and hoping to wake up in the main timeline.
The result, instead of fading away and become and irrelevant ghost, she actually merged with the main timeline and even influenced it by prematurely waking Dave's dreamself up in Derse.
I always thought this was a major plotpoint, and Davepeta gave me hope that it actually is.

Karkat is the best candidate for this. He is a blood player, assuming his powers work similar to Kankri in that he can even remember parts of himself through alternative universes, but he hates himself too much to pull that off.
