Before Rebels, I was hoping they were going to make a more adult oriented Star Wars CGI show based on the Underworld concept they had.

I mean Grand Inq wasn't exactly a masterpiece of characterization but he got the job done, he was appropriately menacing and his purpose in the story worked just fine. Plus based Isaacs doing the voice helped.

7S and 5B were garbage, they were about as menacing as D-list COBRA minions on an average episode of GI Joe. I liked the idea that the purge was so complete that even simple soldiers like former Temple Guards could outclass the remaining Jedi forces and PT guys like Maul could basically curbstomp the new batch of Inquisitors like the scrubs they were, but there just wasn't enough meat to the new guys.
