I agree 100% that Death of Superman was generic as hell. I don't know what i was expecting, but putting It down my reaction was 'well, alright then.'

It's nothing but a soulless retread of the Donner movies, literally every other origin story (Byrne's MoS, Waid's Birthright, Morrison's Men of Steel) is better

I've got Kingdom Come ordered on the recommendation of my LCS owner. I've also seen All-Star Superman on the shelves so I guess that's my next purchase.

It's a great aesthetic I think. My only complaint about the art for me is that it gets stiff at times. I think Ross is a better cover or poster artist than an interior one.
