>On one hand, young people should not be concerned with the appearance.
>On the other hand, why did I feel the need to tuck my t-shirt into my shorts!?!?

>Alabama
It's Alaska, anon. Also, baby Mary a cute!
Reminder that this comic will die soon.
>>81197135
Mary is cute. CUTE
>>81198050
Why do you say that?
>>81198071
She's moving back to th States soon, and it's kind of hard to write an autobiographical comic about your adventures teaching English to Japanese students when you're no longer working as an English teacher in Japan.
So unless she decides to turn this comic into a self-insert action fantasy comic and the next few months of updates consist of Mary encountering the supernatural and teaching the kids to fight ghosts, I can only imagine the comic is ending once she leaves Japan.

Unless she can't afford the plane ticket and becomes stuck in Japan, with the comic turning into the adventures of a hobo scribbling on napkins and putting her comic on the internet using public libraries.

Let's sleep on cardboard!

She talked about this not too long ago.
>Q: What does this mean for LSE? Is it over?
>LSE will continue for a while. I still have a few stories I want to tell, especially ones that will take a few pages and don’t really work with the 4-panel gag format. But once that’s all done, LSE will draw to a close and I’ll make a book that contains the whole thing to sell. It’s a bummer, but obviously I can’t forever continue a comic about a job I no longer have!

All good things must come to an end.
Had sushi half price sushi, half price onigiri will be breakfast, the rest will join other ingredients I already have and become seafood curry.
>>81197135
I would like to see childhood pics of her.
>>81198421
Quitter.
>>81198659
I've never had squid before, how is it?
>>81198907
I assume you never had other less common creatures that might taste similar so all I can say is very different from crustaceans or fish.
Also that's octopus.
>>81198907
Not him but squid cooked in butter and garlic is great.

the basic rule of molluscs, be they snail, clam, mussel, squid, or octopus, is to think flank steak
either baaarely cook them til they're safe to eat, or cook the HELL out of them for a long time til they break down and get soft again
because in between is rubbertown.
>>81198659
wow these carrots are huge
>>81199210
I'm probably a pleb for this, but I actually like it when octopus gets slightly rubbery. It doesn't hurt the taste and the texture is pleasing to me.

>loli Mary
>>81197277
Confirming that white trash from Alabama can't read.
>>81197135
If Mary likes cute clothes and fashion, why does she dress like a dollar store hobo? She's nott terrible looking, but her clothing decisions are atrocious.
>>81202354
She spent her whole life untrained.
It's too late.
She's a fashion veal, even when released from her confines she'll never be strong like the calfs who were permitted free range.
>>81197135
Me as a kid.
And to this day, mostly.
>/co/ bullied Marie so hard she actually started drawing herself uglier.
Fuck, can't you guys let us ugly people have something?
>>81197135
Yeah, Japanese people as a rule do actually care about fashion and appearance.
>>81202828
/co/ is an active agent against unrealistic depictions of women in comics.

>Canadian Tuxedoes

>Poorly kempt cornrows
Dammit Mom and Dad you could've stopped this.
