Geoff Johns' Action Comics run is legit one of the best superhero comic runs in the entire history of the comic book medium.

It's a crime man of steel didn't have moments like this
>>81179586
>I just want to be your son
>You are my son
It was taken from Secret Origin
>>81179628
As someone who loved Man of Steel, it shoulda taken a lot more.
>>81177998
I just want to add speech bubbles of the skullface screaming through space.
>>81178059
...Is that meant to be Brainiac salivating at the thought of finding more Kryptonians?
I started reading Superman when this started so I have a fondness for this, thanks brah
End 867
868 start

I wasn't a huge fan of how Johns wrote the Legion characters (Garth in particular was way off from where Lightning Dad was pre-Crisis) or how he retconned the UP out of being mostly Earth colonies.
But this story was pretty good.

These two pages are great examples of what makes Clark Kent so great.
New Krypton was such a disappointment in the end

And done.
Remember /co/, to hug your loved ones. Death will come to us all, and even the most powerful man cannot stop it.
Good night
>>81182774
Brainiac a shit.
>>81182774
You know not to rag on MoS but Pa dying to something mundane that Clark couldn't stop has always been a great concept to me. It's supposed to show that even if he's the strongest man in the world there are still some things that he still can't stop. It's poignant. Really how WB has handled the Kents in general have been kinda piss poor in my opinion.
That shit's rough.
>>81178896
>>81179039
That's adorable.
>>81180836
Oh shit Koko!
One amazing thing about this run is that people tend to forget that Kara had been SHIT since DC brought her back and this was like the first time anyone used her well in post-Crisis continuity.
>>81182525
I didnt ask for these feels but Im glad I got them.
Thanks, OP.
