This is really getting off the 4chan topic, but I think maybe people rather view homophobia as being illogical. I was raised in a purely secular household and don't care what those who are religious believe, but as a lifelong atheist don't think it should have any baring on public life.

Additionally generally studies have actually shown that gay families are more likely to stay together and be financially well off among other things than straight families, but this is probably strictly because the process of adoption or insemination is time consuming and expensive. However, there is nothing rational to suggest there is an issue with such nuclear families at all.

I was actually surprised when the response I got actually was "I hate it because it is gay." I guess I shouldn't have been. I guess because on /pol/ you expect that, but not on /co/ really.

It seems dumb. I just want something fun and cute. I don't see homosexuality as being "political" either. It is simply something that exists.
