I think part of the reason for the varying quality is that it was confirmed somewhere along the line that the series had a clusterfuck of writers.

So sometimes you'd get cool lore episodes, and other times you'd get "I want to tell me saturday morning moral of the week episode regardless of previous continuity" episodes.

Out of the given cast she was easily the most unlikable.

She had one cool gimmick to her being the knives but that is all completely weighed down by her immediate given character, she feels and acts like an emo punk kid but the bad part is there's basically no given growth to it.

Zuko could be seen the same way except he was given more depth as a character since we could actually get to know him from the time before and the time after we first meet him.

Given if had got more about her family and why she doesn't like it, given a reason to even care about her, I wouldn't even think about putting her, but what we were given, it's this two dimensional character that to me is easily the most unlikable character from the A:TLA show.

There wasn't a goddamn thing likeable about him, his voice was like nails on a chalkboard, had two seasons dedicated to him, painfully unlikable and unfunny. And from what I've seen, his entire fanbase consists of furfags, gay shota fags, landwhales, and shippers. Pretty much all the worst people rolled up into one.
