Omniverse with the OS art style would be all that I need to be honest.

the Original series was my action show as a kid. It was my jam. XLR8 and Upgrade were the dopest shit.

AF was ok. It was cool to see Ben grown up and new aliens, but they changed so much. It got very...boring and grim

UA was just bad. A lot of bad ideas that just compounded on themselves.

Omniverse was great. Some of the most fun I've had with a cartoon, and someday in the future once it's aged a bit more, I'll rewatch all 80 episodes. Like a fine wine.

This might be a good place to post this.Two Rule 63 threads ago I asked some anons which characters they would like to see on Jen 10, more or less related to this >>81097930

So people requested for Four Arms and Rath, so here are them.

Keep in mind that they aren't what these characters would actually look like as genderbended. This is based on a story where all of Ben's aliens are turned into humanoid “monster girls”. If I was to actually genderbend Rath, the result would de more amazonian instead of waifuish, but I find the contrast funny. 4 Arms is fine I guess.

I would like to do other 8 of his aliens to go with it. Anons have any sugestions?

The main problem is in how they retconned his supposed death as seen in Ben 10K (when he was ripped to shreds in that bio-containment jar or whatever it it was). Then at the end of Alien Force, he exploded supposedly to death, and I thought that was their way of making the Ben 10K episode make sense, but then he comes back in the later series with as I recall little to no explanation.

to be fair the specific future in the first Ben 10k episode was set to change just by the fact that they came back with the present for Max pretty much changed the timeline, is the same explanation they used why Adult Ben changed twice during the next series.

But that still doesn't explain why Vilgax survived the explosion of his ship in the series finale of Alien Force. That's something that definitely happened in the main timeline, but it's ignored in later series.

I genuinely enjoyed everything Ben 10 except the second live-action movie and the Ultimate Alien episodes related to it.

The only disappointment I have at this point is that Albedo had Ultimatrix powers in his Omniverse saga and it was barely expanded upon, and Ben10K's fusions and the blob guy's powers were SUCH A FUCKING TEASE and yet the ending ended up being so mediocre.

Ripjaws wasn't actually useless outside of water. In fact, he was pretty much always effective, except in scenes where Ben used all of his aliens and failed with every one, like the first Vilgax fight.

That's one of the good things about Ripjaws. He needs water to survive, but that only really means he needs to rub some water on his skin every minute or so. Outside of water, he's still a super-strong fishmen with jaws that can rip through steel.

Well yeah thats kind of my point, without some sort of hydration he would be vastly impeded in any action he did, always gulping and heaving heavily. To be fair, Omniverse was created to appease fans of the original series while not totally alienating (no pun intended) the handful of fans of AF and UA, despite those two series bleeding fanbase like a car accident victim.

You can't really blame the creators entirely, since Murakami and McDuffy were proven winners who were just thr wrong fit for the franchise. Timeskipping was a HUGE mistake, and by the time the producers of those two series realized it, they decided to just try and roll with it by making a series closer in tone to the original one...which resulted in a teenage Ben acting like he'd been put on heavy medications.

Basically, it was a franchise saving throw that was too little, too late.

I aksed this last time there was a Ben10 thread, but it died before anyone could answer. Second try:

I swear I remember reading somewhere that the original Man of Action proposal for "Alien Force" (and the reason why it was CALLED that) was that the Omnitrix would glitch out and imprint one each of its already unlocked aliens onto a bunch of random humans, some good and some evil. Ben, Gwen, and Max would then have to go and find them and, in the case of the good ones, train them how to use their new alien powers, all the while Ben learned to use the next ten unlocked aliens in the Omnitrix...hence, an Alien Force. I read that CN execs passed on it because it focused less on Ben and turned the project over to Murakami, still hot from Teen Titans, and McDuffy who'd just finished JLU, so MoA went on to create "generator Rex" (based on the "M.Rex comic one of the founders published back in the 90s).

Thing is, I can't FIND any proof of this anywhere, so I either imagined it or heard it at SDCC during a panel or something.

Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this original proposal anywhere?
