alright, so did some more work on the Bluto on the training boat fight. have the gang "losing" to him, and then their victory later on in the journey to show their progress all in one go

So I had an idea last night concerning the Lonely Hearts Club. Now, this idea only works if Hector is the leader/head of the club

I remembered a power from the list of unassigned Stand Powers that I think would suit him.

The unassigned stands list in the googledoc is a goldmine for ideas for characters which we may be stumped for powers for.

I finally realized who would be perfect for one of the MCs of Part 7!

I got an idea!

User: Professor Pyg
Stand Name: 「PERFECTION」
Appearance: Maybe a misshapen humanoid made of clay.
Ability: When the Stand grabs hold of someone, their skin becomes malleable and soft like easily modifiable clay. Professor Pyg would then deform and distort the person until they fit his idea of perfection. No matter what shape and size they are contorted to, the victim will survive the resharpening. The effects are reversed if Professor Pyg is killed.

Honestly, I really think he'd be great in Part 4. I know he's a capefag, but I feel like this would make a great mini-murder mystery with some horror mixed in.

I like the idea of the Princesses being members, but only as fodder for Cruela. They do all get taken out together so they probably aren't too much of hot shit. Cruela, however could be far more of a challenge. That stand ability sounds great but it's pretty reminiscent of Yotsuyu's I AM A ROCK ability in Part 8.

Alright, so I have a Stand concept, but no one to give it to.

Stand Name: 「RASPUTIN」

First thoughts for a user were some sort of vampire, but the only cartoon vampire I can think of off the top of my head is Marceline, and I got the impression AT characters are being avoided. Beyond that, perhaps some sort of alchemist character could work.

Mostly stuff to make it more coherent with the addition of Clifford. Also the fights with Boy George need a bit of elaboration. The stuff in the Captain N pastebins was great, but it felt weird for Tom & the others to be paralyzed for the entirety of the fight (especially since Tom is supposed to be the main character). I took the Eds out of the final battle by having them fight Clifford and Tom & Aladdin fight George before being knocked off the Emerald's platform by the blast when Captain N touches it to gain power (the idea being that they were fighting with George close to the edge). The rest of it is the same with Knuckles and Johnny teaming up to take down a bad guy one last time.

I kind of want to add something to part three where their cruise ship gets attacked on the way to Agrabah by Sinbad the sailor and his crew of rare animals, but the other planned fights probably take precedence.

Among those, the Jafar fight currently has my interest because, as I understand it, ARABIAN NIGHTS wishes don't ware off after a day and the repercussions continue.
Daffy might have been targeting Jafar as a possible threat or wanted to bring him under his influence, but Tom ruined that plan, so Aladdin becomes the new target.

Well right now I'm actually focused on part 3 and only have a vague idea of what we're working with for part 4. I haven't really looked at what we have for part 4 aside from the Eds being the COnman COalition and Freaky Fred being the bad guy, which is something I might want to pry into since he IS Muriel's nephew, so if there's anyone left from part 1, they might know about him.

But part 3, up to about Agrabah, seems stable. We ironed out the kinks with Peach Creek and the Eds having a way to counteract Daffy's Act 1 last thread.

The next hiccup is Bluto's stand and if that lets him be a one man crew for the entire cruise ship.

S.S. seems to just disappear from the story after Tom's fight with him, so I'm thinking he could be the one to inform them that Daffy's hideout is on Fantasy Island after the Angel Island events. Tom might call him to make sure his friend on the inside is kept in the loop about the happenings to avoid any problems with the law.

I think he should be like an overseer who's been watching in the shadows for Daffy since Agrabah.
Snoopy was sent there to recruit to eliminate Jafar, Daffy tells him to hold back since Tom has arrived and Daffy wants to see what he can do. After the Jafar fights, Daffy has lost his chance at wishes until Snoopy tells him about FRIEND LIKE ME, so he sends Carmen to steal the lamp, but she gets side tracked by the emerald and Lowly is sent to kill her for being a failure and a traitor.

Daffy's forces are there because Daffy wants wishes and they're having a hard time finding the source of the wishes.

But do they suspect the duck is there? If so why do they suspect this?
It's possible Johnny already knew about the wishes and thought they could use that power to locate Daffy and Daffy's guys being there also for that power at the same time is coincidence, but I don't like that sort of piled on coincidence. It could work, but it would need tweaking.

took my first crack at a Stand idea. thought The Grinch might fit in with the Lonely Hearts, or just as a random antagonist as needed

The idea was that the lamp was destroyed in the blast since it was on Jafar's belt, yeah. Even if it wasn't, Snoopy saw the kind of shit that went down when Jafar made a wish for himself. He'd keep Daffy away from it at all costs as long as Genie was an option.

Poisoned Oasis is a good name, but the guy who made it seems like some Youtube/Soundcloud only guy working out of his basement or something. Not sure if that fits our naming standards.

I have to get up early tomorrow and I don't want to step on Bullwinkle guy's toes, so I'll hold off on Skrawl. If someone else wants to take him while I'm gone, go ahead, since I'm heading out on vacation and I'm not entirely sure when I'll be able to writefag again.

I was referencing a Stand from Purple Haze Feeback called Manic Depression. It's ability is to speed up biological processes by stabbing people with thorns from it's body. Pretty much everyone besides it's user that was exposed to this power ended up a gorey mess on every surface of the room they were currently in.

Ah I see. The intent I had behind the gears was to them to improve the functionality and efficiency of things they were stuck in. I wasn't exactly sure how to articulate the effects though.

I was thinking the gears would basically make living things move faster, react more quickly, feel less tired while doing so and so on while Machines would consume less fuel, move more smoothly and work more quickly. Being able to enhance biological processes like metabolism would probably make it too similar to the Stand you mentioned so the gears probably should be limited to the parameters I just laid out.

Gonna post some Stand ideas I've had. I've been listening to the Beatles recently.

>「GOOD DAY SUNSHINE」
Manipulate the serenity of others. It could either cause someone to feel more or less serenity, or cause the target to feel the same emotions as the user. Can't decide which.

>「DEAR PRUDENCE」
Allows the user to act vicariously through other living beings. If used on a dog, you can hear and smell what the dog smells. I used on a plant you, you get energy from the sun. If used on a fish, you can breath underwater.

>「HELLO, GOODBYE」
Causes objects to take on the opposite property of what they are usually like (flame becomes cool, ice is hot) without the usual consequences (flame doesn’t go out, ice doesn’t melt).

I'll post some more when I can. I'm currently trying to fit userless Stands from the doc with characters.

「Line 4 Ruin」
Appearance: A punchghost made of overlapping pieces of quartz. It's actually a swarm stand, with smaller units of quartz forming the punchghost form

Ability: When a unit embeds itself onto a body part, said part will gradually be encased in quartz, rendering it immobile.
This process is fairly slow initially, but it's possible to speed up the process by embedding more units on the victim.
Likewise it's possible to send out units to attack multiple users or to set up traps.

However, those units are rather weak on their own, so the user cannot send out too many units or they'll risk not having enough on the punchghost form to protect the user.

That depends on a lot of variables.

Assuming that Eddy fights Josuke, Edd fights Koichi, and Ed fights Okuyasu, Eddy probably gets wrecked if he doesn't get the chance to run away. If he does, he probably still gets beayen, but leaves a pretty big dent in Josuke from using MFN on random civilians and scamming them into attacking Josuke. Koichi probably beats Edd, as despite his intelligence Kiochi has a far wider powerset and a genuine punchghost. Ed almost instantly beats Oku by distracting him then smacking him upside the head with Spoon.

Then that leaves a very weakened Josuke and Ed. Ed probably takes out Josuke pretty fast since Crazy D is weaker, and Spoon is an incredible punchghost. Kiochi probably slows Ed down with ACT 3, but his ludicrous strength keeps him going. Kiochi probably knocks out Ed after using ACT 1 to ruse him in front if a truck or something.

I know that there is no place for the NEVER EVER'd characters except for a cell in Superjail, but I figured I'd share the Stand idea with you guys at least. Maybe you can use it for someone else.

Anyone under the influence of the 「Two To Tango」 has no recollection of the events that occurred.

「The Nearness Of You」- A secondary ability that forces a 「Partner」 to only be able to attack while dancing near the user. This restriction extends to a Stand under their control as well. The more bystanders that watch a 「Partner」 dance, their attacks will increase in strength and speed accordingly. Should a 「Partner」 stop dancing through any outside method, 「Two To Tango」's influence will stop and they will regain full control of themselves.
