I'd call it being a hipster but it's half seriously more likely autism or some other disorder. When too many people I know start talking about a thing I like it gets all saturated and I start to resent it.

As a kid I'd start to resent the thing itself, at this point I know it's the saturation I resent, but that still means I can't re-watch the movie for fun until everyone moves onto something else because the saturation is still there.

Strangely the saturation doesn't apply to people online so much, although the huge number of threads is still disconcerting (because it means it's really popular = greater likelihood of people I know getting into it.)

Actually, you can. The keyboard layout is identical, the only difference is you toggle modes in the IME and it switches from QWERTY to ㅂㅈㄷㄱㅅㅛ. You just need to memorize which English letter key associates with which Korean letter.
