Not if they do it right. Who knows. And as long as it's done well, casuals won't care. Look at Suicide Squad. People saw the Bohemian Rhapsody trailer and compared it to GotG, but they're still hyped for the movie. No one cares about the company wars as much as /co/ would like to make you believe.

Well, it probably will be. If they do Ellisbolts or Cagebolts that is an SS-type squad and formula. It's also a much easier origin to do than the original T-Bolts, who you kind of need to show as villains first to fully replicate. Marvel hasn't been good at keeping the villains around so far, and whether or not Zemo survives will probably be a sign as to what they're gonna do with the Thunderbolts.

Baron Zemo summoned several of his former allies from the prior incarnations of the Masters of Evil during a rescue attempt of Goliath (Zemo's father's former bodyguard). The summoned members included Beetle, Fixer, Moonstone and Screaming Mimi.
