Just started watching this. Now for concentrated doses of autism.
Not sure how to explain this without sounding like a pretentious fedora, but this has to be one of the most philosophical and deepest cartoons.
If you look on the show normally you just see random shit and stuff the animators probably made on a whim, unless you interpret everything as a metaphor.
Xavier for instance is made out of random parts like a beak, snake arm, reversed legs and the like while going a quest to discover himself. You could interpret this as a metaphor for a person who is transforming. The parts represents different aspects of himself that has changed over the years, the experiences has made him what he is.
This is the most autistic post i have ever made but i seriously believe this show is smarter than it makes itself out to be.

It's easily the finest thing PFFR did. Don't get me wrong, I love Wonder Showzen and like The Hear She Holler a lot too, but Xavier is on a whole new level.
Unfortunately, what makes it brilliant also makes it very inaccessible. I can't for example show it to my my friends who are ESL because they're not going to get half the jokes even with subtitles on.

Big fan of this series, but I think your taking it to seriously.
I always got the idea that this series was a parody of "deep, philosophical or edgy" art. It parodies the common trope of the "mystical martial arts man" who rides into town and solves everyone's problems, but it also mocks every American culture and sub-culture. Christians, Muslims, Goths, Punks, Emos.
Also, I like how the creators deliberately make the animation look like it was made in Second-Life or the Sims. And the wordplay is brilliant. I can watch episodes over and over and pick up different things.

If I recall correctly, they actually had a studio use GMOD for this.
