Op here. I like it too, but he's 18 in the comics now, Kid Anything is weird for an eighteen year old super hero to have. I've literally never seen him referred to as this name before though. Caught me off guard.

Also I watched it this morning so I have this:
Out of all the incarnations, the best iteration of miles so far is the current season 4. I really like the dynamic between Pete and him. Pete wants to protect him so that miles lives long enough to go back to his universe, and Miles wants to protect Pete because he couldn't help the Peter of his world, so they have a really good (and quoted in the show) Big/Little brother dynamic. I wish the comics would take note.

I wonder if this change will carry over to the comics. I could see it happening with Miles' whole "I don't want to just be seen as *Black* Spider-Man" thing.

This is from the show ultimate spider-man and miles is trapped in that Peters universe. He just gets a different name while he is there so it's not confusing and ock gave him the name as an insult that he liked
